Dollar General

I stopped by this new Dollar General location that's located on Pisgah Church Rd in Lexington, SC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This store was very clean and maintained to the highest standard of cleanness.

Shelves are empty

Brand new and clean, but still can’t keep the shelves stocked. Unfortunate.

None of the employees ever want to actually work as a cashier.

There was one person ahead of me using the self checkout…I stood at the cash register waiting for someone to check me out but the lady stayed in the back room, even though she looked straight at me.

This happens every time I go here. It’s sad.

What happened to customer service? It doesn’t exist here.

The store coupons dont work and the employees dont know how to make them work. Waited 10 minutes at the check out for any employee to help and he didnt know how but he tried. It didnt work so he had to walked away and help someone else. Seemed to be the only employee in the store on a Saturday. I dont blame him, I blame the store management. This is a brand new store shouldnt be this bad already.

I guess they just make up their own operating times that change depending on when their employees decide to get to work. The sign on their door and Google shows their times as 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. I guess they decided not to open on time today, 01/29/23, because the place was still closed at 9 a.m.

Older white guy very rude. Either outside smoking or mad when you ask for help. If he doesn’t like his job find another one.

They close at 10 but the lady opened the door and said they are closing at 8 and then slammed the door in my husbands face. It’s currently 7:35. We sat in the parking lot and watched about 7 or 8 cars pull up and walk to the door. Huge loss of business for them.

Erratic operating hours. Empty shelves and rude employees.

Very rude employees.
