Plato's Closet Bradenton

i’ve had nothing but great experiences every time i come in here. the employees who work here are very welcoming as soon as i walk in the door. the store is very organized and clean and it’s very easy to find whatever i’m looking for at a reasonable price! one of the employees, jamie has helped me multiple times finding cute clothes, giving opinions, and has done a few of my buys. she is just amazing!! they have always been so great doing buys on my stuff! give this place a go, if you are looking for cute/stylish clothes or selling clothes in a positive atmosphere!!!

I truly don’t understand where all of these negative reviews come from. I wish people could better understand how this store runs and that they can’t just give out all of their money day by day regardless of how nice the brands or clothes are! I can’t imagine the girls that work here go out of the way to treat anyone unfairly! They are just doing their job.. I have come here to shop and sell for years and will continue!

I like shopping here, all the workers are really sweet and helpful. There is also a good variety of clothes/sizes. They also always have really good name brands.

Hunter and Caiden gave me the best experience!!! All of these bad reviews about the clothing options, personally never felt this way about it. They have a good selection of items plus size and smaller sizes for women.

This store was worth the drive! I was genuinely impressed by how organized everything was around the store. And they had a great selection of brands available too. Customer service was excellent as well! I'm sure I'll be coming back to this location. 🙂

The manager was nice. He was informative and pretty spot on. He is very picky which isn’t a bad thing. Just if your selling I would try another Plato’s

I am very new to Plato’s closet, but my experiences here have always been pleasant. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful and the store is amazing.. very clean and organized. The staff has always treated me with the utmost respect and has always taken all of my clothes that I bring in. With todays economy the way it is , every dollar helps, and I will continue to clean out my closet and bring my clothes here to make a few bucks. I absolutely love the guy at the front counter!! ( sorry I don’t kno his name ), he is always helpful and treats me like I’ve known him for years .. He is one of the reasons I come back here, and will continue returning to Plato’s closet.. I have read so many negative reviews and am shocked at what people say . They are ruthless!! Plato’s closet and the staff are the best!!!

actually gave me decent money for clothes that I didn’t use anymore

Very 1st time going to Plato's on Saturday during their athletic wear sale. They surely didn't disappoint!! My 14 yo daughter was extremely happy with everything I got! Hunter was awesome and really helped me out with finding exactly what I was looking for! Will definitely be going back ❤

My shopping experience this past Friday was beyond exceptional. Hunter went above and beyond to ensure I was not only happy, but exceeded all my shopping expectations. I shopped the clearance sale and was amazed at what I was able to purchase and the assistance I was provided. A++ thank you so much Hunter and Plato's Closet in Bradenton!

Update: I spent an hour buying tons of clearance items again today. Hunter, Kiley and Jamie were all awesome. So happy with my purchase and shopping experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place . Every time I go in ,the store is so neat and organized , the staff is super friendly and helpful! The clothes are in great condition and in style! They give you fair prices for your gently used clothing . Today I went in for their athletic event and there was soo much to chose from and the prices for the lululemon and gym shark were amazing! I love coming to this store Hunter is awesome and does a great job with this store and you can tell he takes pride in everything that he does! You definitely have a customer for life, won’t even bother going to the sarasota store anymore , Bradenton platos is where it is at!!!!

I love the newer Plato’s closet in Bradenton! It’s so clean, organized and color coated! The employees are amazing especially Hunter M! He is phenomenal! He’s got great customer service skills and an awesome attitude and he can really sell the items there! If it wasn’t for Hunter, I wouldn’t have spent over 100$! He’s a shining star! Also he has great style, is well put together and very fashion oriented which is key for retail! He should be management! Five stars all the way! Thank you Plato’s and Hunter! My new favorite store location!

Very clean and well organized. I'm a dude, a fairly big one, so not much selection for me (did find a few good shirts, but not many jeans). If you're a regular sized dude there's a decent selection for you!

Just like all PC locations the women's selection is massive compared to the men's.

Priced well. Staff is friendly and helpful but young, so a few comments here and there which were somewhat unprofessional, but nothing bad, just par for the course with such a young staff. You gotta expect it and not get offended Karen!

I have had a great experience here each time I have come. I drive all the way from south Sarasota specially because the Manager is so helpful and friendly! He is more than fair when buying my items. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience!! :)

I've been a huge fan of this store for years! It's always so clean and organized. The staff is so friendly and I can count on finding a really great deal. I sell to them a lot and feel the pricing is fair. I think a lot of people in the reviews don't understand that Plato's is a discounted retail store so when they sell their items they won't get top dollar for them. If you sell what they are taking you can make a ton of money!! I made $250 on my last buy!!! But sometimes I make $10. I will always be a Plato's shopper and seller #platosclosetbradenton

Recently just lost a bunch of weight, and let me tell you Plato’s Closet has become my new best friend. The people there are very friendly. The clothes and the store are very clean. I love getting text messages when they have a sale or when I get 20% off the entire purchase with my points.

Has everything organized. It's easy to just go and find what you need an walk out. I do most of my shopping there and I always tend to find the cutest outfits. They always tend to have the perfect outfits when you need something in season. And at times have it organized by name brand. Everything is so cute there even the clothes they choose to hang on the walls ❤❤❤

Came here a few weeks ago and was so thrilled with how friendly and helpful the girls were in the store. Great selection of clothes too! They had 4 ways set up specifically by brand. Awesome idea and super helpful to shoppers.

Corinna completed the selling process with me during my first experience at Plato’s Closet. While Hunter separated my clothing items, I decided to shop around the store. I was very impressed with the wide selection of clothes. They especially had a large section of X-small and small clothing for petite women. I appreciate Hunter and Corinna for making this a positive experience.
