I wasn't sure what type of market this was because of the name.
Well... I was surprised when I went in.
If you're looking for 🐟 🐠 🎣 🐡 FISH... Look NO further!
They've got everything!
I quickly realized that this was an Asian market. Most of the products don't even have any English written on them at all.
I got some cool wooden spoons for only $3 and a bag of peanut bars for only $1!
GREAT produce, too!

This store is so clean, in a great location, great staff, and the car park is really well-planned. I was driving from LA to San Diego. Struggling with the heavy traffic in peak traffic, and getting sleepy. Took the next exit and found myself in this cute little mall. Then I see a bunch of nice cars and people (middle Asian) of all ages heading into the anchor store, Zionmart. It's a Korean grocery store.

Tip about Korean grocery stores: they have fresh salmon in a variety of cuts. I get some, and snacking seaweed, both perfect for my keto diet. Dinner is made!

- Price: Many many items were on sale! Fruits and vegetables were fresh with good value, got 24 bunches of green onion for $1.99! I made Kimchi with them :p What a steal! Much cheaper than Vegas supermarket!! Shopped about $350 which could have been +$500 in Vegas lol

- Ambience: Huge & bright place. It was pretty busy on the weekend. Everything is well organized. So many seafoods and processed foods imported from Korea or other Asian countries. There are frozen meals so all you do is heat-up!

- Service: Cashier was friendly and quick.

- Restroom: Usable. Not pleasantly maintained.

- Location: It is conveniently located in the plaza restaurant area. Good to go before/after eating.

- Parking: It is in the plaza so there is a plenty of parking.

- ETC

Definitely! This is the best Korean grocery supermarket chain by far. Hope they open one in Vegas someday...lol

Huge with tons of options and great prices. Parking lot is big with plenty of oversized spaces. There’s a few different restaurants inside that are all great. Fresh meat and fish, good selection of sake and soju, frequent promotions, and they’re usually not too busy. Pretty building with a lovely exposed ceiling.

This location is closed. Last night I went there around 7 pm and the door closed, dark inside, parking lot is empty, no Zion market sign. I wonder if the market was permanent closed. This is a place where I shop after work. Good market to shop.

This market has almost evrything I used to buy in Korea. I also enjoyed Hwae Dup Bub (회덮밥) at their little food court. I felt like I was back in Korea which I miss so much.

I loved this place, but this location is now closed and has been for at least a month ☹. Just a heads up to everyone, since Google Maps keeps saying it is open.

Vegetables and fruits are fresh and cheap!! Have never had such great deal in Nor cal

This zion mart is much better than the other location in Irvine.
Always easy to find well-organized and fresh products.Also, all the cashiers and the assistants, who help putting products in the bags are very helpful.
Always clean and comfortable atmosphere to shop here.

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Zion Super Market in Irvine, and I must say that my experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the store, as well as the friendly and helpful staff.
The selection of products at Zion Super Market is impressive, with a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, and other grocery items available. I was particularly impressed by the selection of international products, including a great variety of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean items that are hard to find at other grocery stores.

When we’re passing through Orange County, we like to stop for K-Pop Sushi located inside the store. The produce section is also impressive.

Great variety of Korean food. This place is my go-to for veggies and meat for grilling. The staff is friendly and the place has a nice level of cleanliness. Their instant ramen selection is also great, with plenty of flavors to choose from. It's also a little retired from the center of town, making it less busy at peak times. Overall, nice place. An almost-hidden, hidden gem.

Great selection and friendly staff. Prices are competitive and their meat and seafood is fresh. The one and only thing that bothers me is the lack of fried tofu; other than that, I find everything else any other Asian market would have.

What a treat this place is! Amazing and unique snacks from all over the world. World class Korean BBQ meats cut fresh from their butcher. Top shelf bulk rice with unreal bargain pricing. The best part is the produce section; values you have never seen before on fruit you have never seen before! Keep in mind, that price typically means it is ripe and ready to use that day. Perfect for meals you want to cook same day.

Great produce selection and very fair prices overall. This is primarily an Asian market, so keep that in mind when looking you’re looking for packaging you recognize - chances are they have what you need, but the brand is just different than what you find at a Ralph’s or Vons.

Their meat selection is also good, and they have an open seafood market with a ton of variety. The butchers are more than willing to help clean/prepare anything you purchase.

There are a few sub-businesses within the store: an awesome bakery (they make a whole wheat bread that is so light and fluffy you’ll swear you’re eating air), Korean fare, sushi, and a juice bar. Because these are their own businesses you will pay for their goods at their counter - you don’t take them to the main checkout lane.

I prefer this market over the the Irvine Blvd location and any and all HMarts.

I was given a list of items to grab from my mom. I don't know how to read Korean, but Min did and she was so helpful with me finding everything on that list.

This is a Korean market which carries lots of ingredients for Korean cooking. They have a bakery & food court within. They also carry ready made food. If you love Fuji apples or Korean pears & melons, this is the place to visit. Their fruits are very fresh and at times on sale which is a bargain. This is the only market that carries Winter Melons which I love to use for soup. They also all kinds of fresh mushrooms. I do enjoy shopping here.

Most awesome store! Has any authentic Asian/Japanese food item you could pray for and more!! Love when I visit my family here and get to stock up on hard to find items. Tamarin, Rice bowls, authentic Ramen/Rice noodles. Packages of ingredients ready for the Soup Pot/Wok. A must when in town!!

Needed to get ice cream on way to 4th of July party and not from the area. I knew there was a market in shopping center on University Dr in Irvine so parked. I Googled it and said its a Korean market which it is. They have huge variety of Asian/Korean food and actually also had the vanilla bean ice cream I was looking for.
