Crack Seed Store

So many products- I wish you can buy a smaller amount than a 1/4 pound tho… Super friendly staff who willl let you sample. I love seeds. Parking is behind the building with lots of meter spots.

My friend on Guam loves crack seed, and so for the holidays I’ll go hunting for her requests. I used to go into Chinatown but thankfully I found one of the best and oldest near me, in Kaimuki. The store fronts Koko Head Avenue, and if you can’t find street parking, there’s a big metered parking lot behind the building - be sure to bring quarters!

In the age of COVID, you’re not allowed to shop in the small store - you can step into the entrance and order from the friendly staff who will bag your selections. There’s a menu on the window and door, but you can also ask them about the many varieties. They hot seal the plastic bags, which is awesome if you’re bringing them with you on a plane for friends off island.

This will be my new go-to for crack seed!

I stopped by getting me some treats here. They put the menu board on the show window and front door with pictures, which helps us to order with its name. It is a brilliant idea! Ordering and paying becomes so smooth. Still looking at those seeds jar makes me happy... Very dangerous store, for sure.

This store’s been around forever, at least the past 15 years since I’ve known it but probably much longer. Great local snacks, cute little store that is family owned. A little pricey but reasonable compared to other stores that sell similar products. I highly recommend the Li Hing Lychee!

Just the BEST. Nothing brings local and nostalgia like this place. I was searching for that old school Doe Fang, Li Hing Icee. This, just hit the childhood spot. Great variety of crack seed!

I called to see how fast an order will get to me in Hilo. The sweet lady I talked to helped me and saved me because I needed my order before the weekend. No one on Oahu or Hilo has this quality of saltly li hing mui seed that I remember as a kid. I will forever be ordering seed from you.

I’m in Philly but had a meannnn craving for seed. I placed an order and in under a week they arrived (packed great and even better tasting).

Brings me back to the my childhood memories growing up in Hawaii. They have all of my favorite ( Li-hi mui seed shredded Mango) . Now they made it so easy just look at the picture and numbers .

A NOSTALGIC PLACE one of the few you will find with the huge glass jars filled with all kinds of crack seeds. Thou the original owner retired last year the new owners kept it just as I can remember walking inside with my grandmother. It's become a visitor attraction as people walk in memorized with so many choices. Open 7days a week but you may wanna call ahead of time prior to visiting. Enjoy cuz we do! 😁

Not too many of this kine shop. I value it every time I see it. Call it nostalgia but this crack seed store is a Honolulu treasure. Also the king mui is amazing

What a treasure! One of the great unchanged experiences about this area. Shop is between Panache and Sprout Sandwich Shop.

Here you will still find the 'ole school crack see jars and delightful snacks by the pound. Love the iso peanut; this is the old school style, nice shoyu flavor and crunchy exterior before you get to the peanut.

The special super item to ask for is their li-hing Icee with vanilla ice cream.The shopkeeper puts real li-hing juice in the cup along with a plum that has been soaking in the special li-hing sauce. Whoa!! Broke da mouth!!!

Afternoons you might find a line but be patient cause it's worth it. On street parking available with public parking (lot) located directly behind the shop. They also accept major credit cards.

This is a great store. Everything is fresh, so much more so compared with the tint packages of different cracked seed available at supermarkets or Longs. We send my son--who grew up in Hawaii--a "care package" of his favorites regularly.

I love that they you can order online. Especially since I moved to Louisiana its hard not having Hawaii local snacks.They called to check for fraudulent actions, which I thought was awesome. I recieved my order quickly. I shared my snacks with friends who had never had seeds from Hawaii and they loved it!!!

One of the original crack seed store in Hawaii (at least how I remember it). They have a good variety of products and the items seems "fresher" than other places, if you know what I mean. I usually like the wet stuff, yea, sounds gross, but trust me, its good. I still haven't found a youtube video on how to make li hing mui, if you find one, please lmk... I don't plan on making it myself, but I find it weird that there are videos on just about anything but not how to make li hing mui....maybe I don't want to know...

Some places haven't changed as if I was young again. Remember those HUGE GLASS JARS with all kinds of CRACKSEED, CANDY AND MORE? As soon as you walk in the aroma that fills your nose as you zoom in to see what's in each jar like some kind of surprise awaits for you. The old Chinese man stands by as you try to decide among 30+ choices....

Da best dried fruit and fish snacks! Hot dry lemon is probably my favorite. Ordered dried strawberries and dried guava for first time. So ono. Thank you!

This place is a local favorite. If you're looking for island "crack seed" li hing mui type of goods, THIS IS DA SPOT. Loaded with all the ol skoo goodies. I've been coming here since I was in the 3rd grade. I'm 55 years old now‼ This is one of my favorite stores and I love all their treats. Check it out.

Great old skool back in the day place to get some local snacks. The owner is the original guy that made li hing popular.
