Giant Food

Rhonda helped me so much tonight! I was struggling with my self checkout and she helped me all the way through. If anyone sees this that has the power to give her a raise she deserves it she was so friendly I offered to tip but she refused bc they don’t allow tips. If she is not given the raise she deserves She at least deserves a large amount of praise from the rest of the team that works there. Thank you Rhonda for your patience and your help!

The second set of doors that are locked and being used for an 'Emergency Exit' needs to be reopened IMMEDIATELY!!! Giant needs to hire off duty sheriff's to work overtime on the stores busy days.

The presence of Law Enforcement inside of Giant will DEFINITELY deter the crime of stealing and robbery. That is how their upscale sister store 'Gucci Giant' does it in Pikesville, MD.

Both doors stay open and off duty sheriff's or police in full uniform monitor and patrol the interior location of the Giant Grocer.

Also this emergency door being accessed will make it easier for the Giant staff that. handles deliveries and pickup.

Giant has the best pickup experience of all the stores I've tried. The online shopping team is friendly and knowledgeable! They provide concierge level service and ensure the order is picked and packed as I would do myself! Love it!

Went to Giant in Abingdon to pick up prescriptions. This pharmacy is outstanding ! More than that. The pharmacists are absolutely amazing to work with. They are beyond professional and more than willing to help the client out with anything or everything. In today's world...you know what I mean, they are caring, compassionate and make this client so happy and satisfied with the experience. JUST AMAZING PEOPLE ! !. I've told my friends, neighbors, relatives and my Doctors about how extraordinarily kind, proficient, and still.professional these ladies are ! Ids give them a hundred stars if I could.

There every other day. Clean, friendly. It's better stocked now than in previous months since the pandemic. It's still my go-to market and gas station. Imagine my excitement when I got my discount for my Thanksgiving ham 🤪

I have to apologize first, because I hadn't had my coffee yet this morning, so I may have seemed rude. Everyone in the Giant in Abingdon was super nice and attentive this morning! I was immediately greated when I walked in the door. Like I said before, I hadn't had my coffee, so I had this "deer in headlights", look as went through the produce department in search of items. This nice gentleman asked me if I needed help and even informed me about the special on the veggies I was searching for. I was greeted throughout the store and the lady at checkout was helpful as well...very pleasant experience.

This is my go-to grocery store. It is very clean inside and well stocked. During the day it gets very crowded as many aisles are narrow and overall this Giant location is smaller than most other grocery stores, so I often go at night and it is so much easier to shop then and maneuver around.

Great store with friendly staff and excellent prices. Beautiful produce.

This store has the absolute best customer service when using the online shopping and pick up option. Every time I have shopped this way the employee who calls is incredibly professional and super personable! My pick up is always quick and without issues. All of my items are perfectly organized! I highly recommend to everyone!

I love this store, it is the only place I can find several items like the Amish butter I love (a keto diet must have), and the great deals on seafood.

They also carry condiments and spices from several ethnic groups coming in second only to Wegmans for variety. Clean well laid out, and close to home. They also have a gas station where you get 10 cents off per $100 spent at the store, a needed benefit in the gas crisis we now face.

FYI, they closed the entrance doors on the far side of the lot, so park near 924 if you have issues walking.

My only issue with shopping here is exiting the area onto 924. It's abysmal and takes forever!

definitely one of the nicer Giants, always good deals. love finding good clearanced items in the back by the freezer section. staff is mostly friendly, would be a 4 1/2 star if possible. one lady was kinda rude but probably just having a bad day

I just had the best customer service experience at Abingdon Giant. The staff was so helpful at the Customer service desk. They didn't have something I wanted so they gave me a rain check. Then I forgot to put in my bonus card number and they were able to add my points from my purchase to my card. I really appreciate them for going the extra mile. Way to go!

I like Giant in general. This location is close to work. I come here quite often. And there is a giant gas station on the property.

Surprised to find dozen large eggs for 1.99. Had thought I'd pay top dollar..... Don't usually go to giant.... Too pricey.

Giant is one of my favorite grocery stores where I do most of my food shopping. You can find fresh meats, excellent seafood especially crab legs and steam shrimp. When I have a birthday party it's my go to place for birthday cakes and cupcakes from the bakery. I can do all of my grocery shopping in one place. Whether I am celebrating a special occasion with family and friends the deli is superb we order our potato salad, macaroni salad, and other salads that my family enjoys. The check outs are fast customer service. If you ever have any problems their customer service are always more than willing to service you with a smile. I love shopping here and you would too.

I absolutely love Giant! I've been a loyal customer for years. I go there at least 4 times a week, little trips during the week, with major shopping on the weekends. I know the names of mostly everyone that works there & they know me. They are always so friendly, accommodating and super happy to help you. I'm so familiar with the store that other customers ask me where things are & I can tell them!
