Ignore low reviews about the mask mandate. It’s for a reason that is important and is completely understandable. If you are concerned maybe ask about it. The owner was polite and was happy to explain.

I’m just leaving a review to combat all the selfish people who can’t understand that the store requires masks to protect immunocompromised loved ones. You can put a peice of cloth on your face for 15 minutes to protect workers’ families?

Great selection, fair prices, and a friendly owner. Everything you could want in a card shop.

Outstanding service. Still closed to public due to COVID since close contact in gaming situations. However, our first visit months ago, they opened for my mask wearing son. Spoke at length about his starting level and let him place an order which they filled on spot. Today he called ahead for an immediate need . They again filled the order and let him pick it up. We have not done mail order with them yet, but judging from the volume awaiting pick up from shippers, they look like they are able to satisfy many, many customers. Friendly and knowledgeable, best customer experience in the seven local shops I have visited with my son.

My friend and I stopped in to pick up a game for her work. They didn't have what she was looking for so we looked at other games. She and I are totally newbies to these types of board games but the owner was so nice to us. He took the time to explain the different games and answer our questions. He didn't seem at all put out or bothered by our questions or the fact that we really didn't know anything about these games. You could tell that he loved the games that he sold and enjoyed talking about them. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great shop and extremely nice people.

Hey my name is Zachary, I recently bought a playset of time spirals from nextridgegames, they sold them to me for 150 a card for a total of 600 dollars, that card is like 210 minimum for a total of 800 on card kingdom so I figured hey they might not be the best looking card, but they are just going in my high tides legacy deck and never coming out. BUT THEY WHERE BEATIFUL!!!! SUCH AMAZING KEPT CARDS, not only that I reached out to them to let them know my mail men have been short staffed so the packages have been getting destroyed and they TRIPPED WRAPPED IT FOR ME!!! This place went beyond expectation to make sure I was satisfied. I don't even live in Florida anymore I live in NH now but I will be purchasing from them whenever I can. 10 out of 10 shop here, you wont regret it.

I have been a customer of this store for 3 years and a mtg player for a couple decades. This is the best shop and the best staff in the Tampa Bay Area. Period.

I don't play Magic here, but I go here regularly to buy Magic cards. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful and really do want to make sure you get exactly what you need. The location is a little out of the way, but they have excellent service and all the cards and accessories you need.

Purchased top shelf MTG singles online - discussed grading with Mark from NRG, he even sent pics prior to purchase. Cards arrived safely, as described, and in a timely manner. Highly recommend, Thank you!

The shop was nice. They were in the process of moving, so there wasn't a lot of inventory on display, but they had some board games in addition to the CCG/TCG staples.

I forgot my playmat at home and was going to buy one, but the shop let me borrow one since I didn't need another collecting dust at home.

Drinks were reasonably priced ($1 for sodas, energy drinks/special stuff was a bit more).

The clientele was about what you'd expect for an FNM, but everyone was nice considering it was my first sanctioned event in a couple years.

My friend and I were checking out the scenery seeing how we're moving into the area and we were pleasantly surprised to find their was a game store nearby. We've been to a number of game stores in Tampa but overall this was one with a more welcoming atmosphere. The people working there were funny, witty, and were positive while the gamers let on a friendlier than normal vibe. It's a young store apparently but it's got character.

We've tried some game stores in the area before like oblivion games but uh... The crowd sort of carried an elitist sort of vibe to them and wasn't really the kind of crew you can mesh with it felt like. Plus the guy working the counter sort of hovered around us kind of making our group feel a bit uncomfortable when we were opening our packs of cards. A few other stores have been like this, so we've been having a bad streak with game stores as of late.

Naturally the atmosphere at NRG really sells it for me. We'll be hitting up that place again and soon.

Open for curbside, order on website and pick up super simple. Looks nice inside hope to play there when its safe.
Website has a way to paste decklists so its easy to search for a bunch of cards at once.

very powerful place I played my first tournament here and it is a fond memory. its in a rough area though. on my way out some vagrant lady started harassing me for money for beer. so if you see any homeless people on your way out at night.... RUN

Chill dudes, great prices. Highly recommend for all MTG and Board game needs.

The employees are well versed and knowledgeable in all of the games they sell for, and host events on a regular basis. Newcomers are welcomed like family, and will absolutely have a great time.

Bought an Ultra Pro Pro-Deck Box. It was run over by my car. The design shot out my cards like Uno Attack and saved the deck from certain death. This product deserves 6 stars

Rusty is extremely knowledgeable and eager to help. Their singles available are pretty broad. This place isn’t close to my house but I will totally be there whenever I am in the area.

Best prices. And they pay a lot for Magic The Gathering and other stuff like old video games. The people are great too. They also have a ginormous Jurassic Park sign.

This is a really nice, enormous game store. Prices are good, and the owner went the extra mile getting me a book I was looking to pick up. Will definitely get return business from me.
