Ben and Lisa are so friendly and so dedicated in what they do.

I explained to Lisa that I really missed having a Guitar Hero on Nintendo DS and they both made it happen for me!

Lisa communicated to me what they could do and what they had in terms of Nintendo DS games. They both made sure my DS was working properly, too.

My husband and I finally visited their store to pick up my DS and Ben gave us a warm welcome. Their store is just so interesting and I am so impressed that Ben designed that Mario counter with his own two hands.

We enjoyed looking through their consoles and games, that we bought two Game Cube controllers and a Nintendo DS Bejeweled game as well.

My Nintendo DS is working fine and I play it almost everyday!

We will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait to see their business grow!

I went to A Matter Of Hacks to look into buying a GameCube. When walked into the store was taken back by a sensation of nostalgia. There were games and consoles that haven't seen in years and the owner was very nice and knowledgeable. asked him some questions on the Gamecube wanted and he took the time to take me to the game room in his shop to demo it and to answer my question. Landed up buying the GameCube and was impressed in its quality. Customer service was impeccable and felt like got a bargain for what got. 10/10 would recommend his game shop to anyone.

Ben is incredible and offers top notch customer service. The demo room is immensely impressive and allows you to play just about any retro game you can think of as well as test out a disc or cartridge before purchasing it. The atmosphere was welcoming. I'm so glad I stopped in to see this charming store.

Picked up Breezy today and she is definitely the coolest looking console I've owned. Both the external and software modifications are great with the fact that it was ready in a few days of placing the order. The inclusion of a refurbished original Gamecube controller was a great touch. Ben took the extra step to show me all the functionality of the Wii's Homebrew applications.

My partner and I couldn’t find someone who could walk us through the ins-and-outs of our newly modded game cube. Luckily, we found Ben’s store and he was so helpful! He was extremely patient, friendly, and welcoming. He also has an amazing game room for free where we were able to enjoy a wide variety of options while we waited. It really goes to show how there are people who have a true passion in helping others. We are so grateful of this store and found Ben not only helpful but also inspiring.

I came by because of good reviews and was not disappointed. Ben is a great guy to just geek out with.
Our daughters became friends as well. The game room is sick and this store has a very nice chill vibe to it.
Buying and sells my prices are fair as well and they can mod consoles.

Love the owner super dope guy and prices are super affordable got a free mcboot card and the sd card memery card mod so I can play games on my ps2 with busted a bust disk drive

Passed by with my husband Henry today just checking out game stores in the area. The owner Ben, was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and very clearly a video game fanatic which was truly refreshing to be around compared to some of the places we’ve shopped in! He was super genuine and passionate, and just overall a cool dude. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this shop to anyone we know that loves gaming as well!

Really awesome place to get your console hacked. Ben was super welcoming, interesting to talk to, taught us a lot, and managed to hook up our wii in what felt like no time. He showed us the ropes and gave us some pointers for the future so we had and are having a blast. No doubt the place you wanna go, they'll treat you right. LOVE this place! Just stopped in today and got an N64 cartridge with ever game ever made for N64 😅 my 4 year old had a blast, they store is set up for kids which was super cool, and not going to lie I felt like a kid seeing all these games I grew up with. Ben the owner was awesome!! Can't recommend high enough go here for your retro gaming, keep these old gaming systems alive today's kids should know what it was like!!

Dropped off a GameCube to be modded, and got a phone call saying there would be some issues due to some oversight on my part. Ben went above and beyond coming up with a solution to the problem, and even went so far as to put some extra effort into making it look almost brand new. Best experience in the local area as far as game stores go by far!

The best video game store in all of Colorado springs. The prices are some of the lowest I've seen anywhere including online. His buying prices are way better than GameStop or any other game shop in town if you are looking at selling. The system mods are some of the best and most affordable around. If you are into video games I highly recommend A Matter of Hacks. It's easy to walk into the store and spend hours there. The owner is top notch and fair. This is what a video game store should be.

when I asked about the modifications he does to the consoles, he couldnt tell me enough about it, i could tell he has a real passionfor his craft! The fact that he let's you test the modded consoles before you buy them or even just hang out and game for a little bit if there's down time is awesome. Ben is super educated and loves helping people first, his prices are incredibly fair all around on everything!. Out of every game store in COS I would shop here EXCLUSIVELY because the people, the prices, and the environment, is something you cant find at any other local video game store right now. I could've talked to the guy till he closed shop lol. I had such a pleasant experience and I recommend anyone who enjoys video games at least stop in and see what he has to offer!

It was like walking into Hollywood video as a kid. So many retro games brought back so many memories. The owner and his wife are cool cats, showed me some wicked cool stuff and had a great conversation about the games.10 out of 10 recommend

This place rocks. Ben and Lisa are amazing at what they do and make you feel at home. There's also a game room that you can test out counsols after repair or before you buy. They were able to fix what I needed and more. 100% would recommend coming here.

It has been a while since I have found a store like this not only do the treat all there customers with respect ben also try his best to make sure everything that leaves the store is in the best shape he took the time to show me how to use the sysems plus show me the game room and tell me what they do there it didnt feel like a big box store it felt like I was talking with friends the whole time and he takes care of his customers in a way that is not seen very often
