It’s CVS. Not much to say. Well run pharmacy and convenience store.

Store is fine, but the Pharmacy is inundated and I truly feel bad for the folks who have to manage the onslaught of customers from Rite Aid. We only have one Pharmacy now in Oyster Bay, and the queue, of-recent, has been 15-20 deep at most times, with waits over 60 mins for vaccines, meds, or OTC products. I hope CVS recognizes the need and boosts their staff, and quite frankly, updates this store with more space for Pharmacy pickup and general upkeep.

I’ve been a Walgreens fan for years and when I moved to Oyster Bay and saw our local CVS I knew I was going to make the switch. I’ve come here at different times of the day and evening and I always walk in feeling like I’ve entered an era. It’s poorly maintained and run, it’s dark and dreary and the staff who work there don’t like their jobs.

Recently I asked for support while using the checkout machine (this is pretty much the only way to checkout) and the person who helped me thought it was funny to make fun of how stupid shoppers were because the machines are always right. When did we lose the human experience at a pharmacy to machines?
