The BEST around! I consider myself very lucky to have Kings as my local butcher/meat shop. From friendly service, quality cuts and products to their weekly sale sheets- Kings is mine and my families favorite place to stop! 10/10 would recommend :)

High quality meats! Love coming here for all of our meats, definitely worth ditching the grocery store. They sell a large variety including dry aged meats! They also have their own green olives and tons of sauces and chutneys to choose from. The service is always great too. This was my first time goi g on a weekend and they were packed, but had plenty of staff to handle the business. Best butcher in town!

My gf and I have been going here whenever we feel like bbqing for the past year or so. We have NEVER been disappointed. Her and I tried their Meatloaf for the first time. MIND BLOWN!!! Everything soooooooo good and soooooo delicious. 7 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

Such a great spot. Employees are so friendly and happy. I've been a few times. There buffalo wing sauce is the best I've ever tried. Beef franks pop and crunch when you bite them. Just got a rack of ribs two weeks back and then removed the membrane at my request.

Today got a New York for my wife and a ribeye for myself. Absolutely delicious. We also had lunch there today. The burger was incredible although they over cooked it. I didn't request medium which I should have. I'll be back again and again. Not knocking Archers, but they could learn a thing or 12 from this spot! It also puts Roseville meat market to shame and I thought that was as good as it got. Don't mind the Mac and cheese with the $teak... I live with a 5yr old haha!

Great Food! I tried this place for the first time today. I got 3 tri-tip sandwiches and 2 different kinds of fries for my family for dinner. They were out of pastrami and pulled pork, but I didn't get there until 10 minutes before they closed. Wish we could have eaten it there, versus heating it up, but it was delicious! We all thought so. Kinda pricey, but we felt we got wh6we paid for. Tons of meat on the sandwiches, which was super tender, and the portions of fries were huge! Very happy and will be returning a LOT!

Great burgers! I had the jalapeno burger and it was loaded with veggies and spicy chipotle sauce and jalapenos. So good! My wife had the tri-tip sandwich and it was great too with onions, plenty of bbq sauce, and thinly sliced tri-tip. We also went nuts and got the ranch french fries (ranch and bacon bits) and the chili thai tatter tots. Both were incredible. Our meal was $40, but so good and so worth it! OMG the bacon

I stopped eating bacon because grocery store bacon no matter the brand has gone way downhill. The thick cut stuff is chewy, thin stuff is all fat, the texture and flavor are just never right. And don't even get me started on the tainted stuff.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of picking up some beef patties and bacon during our first trip to Kings. Later that night we enjoyed some of the best burgers we've ever had. The bacon ACTUALLY rendered properly leaving behind minimal fat and a slightly crispy texture. The chuck patties had far superior flavor and texture than the grocery store sirloin we've been using. All around a positive experience.

I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other meats. I don't think I can go back to a grocery store for meat ever again.

Exceptional staff, highest quality meats and other food items you'll find around, extremely clean and well kept! Owner is one of a kind! Supports his local community and a great person all around. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see them, you won't regret it! Get that meat in your mouth!!!

This place is incredible. They’ll even dry age meat for me and help me choose the perfect cut for that. I drove over an hour just to come here.

This is the only place to purchase your meat, pies, sauces, just so many items of excellent quality. Everyone there is knowledgeable, friendly & very helpful. When we're in town, this is the only place we go for our meats. Was SO tired of less than adequate meat & high prices at the grocery store. We couldn't be happier at Kings!!

Best butcher in a desert of butchers. For hundreds of miles you probably won't find better meat.

Great service and amazing selection including boar's head meats and Schaller and Weber a German butcher out of New York City. Specialty items such as duck and rabbit are here too.

Dry aged steaks are a supreme treat. (Price) opposed by weekly competitive sale items.

Love everything about this place. The food the family and the atmosphere. They are ready to help with any questions you might have on how to cook or what to cook for the night. The owner Casey is not just a butcher, he is a certified chef and they have started to make in house potato and pasta salads... they even have locally grown vegetables, breads, cheeses, eggs, and much more.
Stop in and grab some grub if you haven't yet... it's beyond worth it

Highly recommended this family run place! We are new to the Placerville area and sure very grateful to have a good butcher like Kings Meats so close to us. This will help our new go-to butcher! Their meat is mostly prime quality and they even have aged meat. Missy and the owner’s daughter were the ones I interacted down far and everyone here is super patient and helpful, yup, as a newbie in town, I had a lot of questions to ask. Coming back to for more soon.

Rode the motorcycle up from Sacramento after school as soon as possible and made it there just under 10 minutes from closing. First thing I asked was "are you guys all cleaned up already?" Expecting them to say yes or hesitantly say no to which I would've tried to get there earlier another day. However, they actually seemed happy that I made it in. I put in a decent size order - about 25 lbs total to which they slapped together and I was STILL out by 6. Very impressed with the customer service, and the quality of meat is incredible. Thank you!

Love Kings Meat! Shop there weekly for most of our meat. Best Rib-eye and NY steaks ever! Love their Spicy & Smooth BBQ sauce and the selection of sausages is awesome! My family all have their own favorite 😊 we stop every Friday for fresh fish too - love the Halibut!
