Great experience selling my record collection. He was very honest, polite, and offered a fair price. If i had more records, I would do business with him again.

Although i wasn’t there to shop, I will say the store has a great selection and a lot of fun things to look at.

GREAT SHOP, took my daughter in this morning and she was in awe. Loved the selection and the vintage poster all over the stores walls and ceiling. Will definitely be back for more!

I’ve been going here for a long time and it’s my favorite record store in the Oak Park area. He has a really good selection and everything is priced reasonably. The inventory rotation feels pretty good and I always find new things.

What a great resource!!! The owner will hand pick selections for you based on your likes, introducing you wonderful new finds and forgotten oldies. The records are in pristine condition and the inventory is always changing. I drive here from northwest Indiana and it’s well worth the trip!

Great Shop. Good prices, good selection, nice variety. One of my favorites. Don't forget to flip through the 2 and 3 dollar section. I've found a few rarities in good shape.

Best in my Neighborhood and I'm glad it's there. As far as Used Record Stores go, this is not pretentious or wacky with prices. I'd say your going to pay fairly and the quality generally justifies the purchase. The store seems to be pretty well stocked. Includes an updated new records section as of this review, and has a sizable 'new arrivals' area which is always nice. It's small enough that the owner may have to step out from time to time and always leaves an "I'll be back" note. These kinds of stores are notoriously casual, so I give him some slack, but then I live nearby. Call ahead if you need to be sure, I suggest.

My favorite record store in the world. The used vinyl selection always blows me away with hidden gems. Alan is a cool guy who is always interested in talking all things music. Always a good time.

Visited twice recently. A good selection of used and some new records. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, exactly what a used record store should be like. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.

They have more than CD's and LP's. They vintage posters and video games. I even saw a AFX racing set. The owner is nice and accommodating!

They have a wide selection of used vinyl and I was able to find several of my most wanted LPs on my visit today. I'll be back again soon.

Definitely worth a visit if you love the sound of vinyl! Used and sealed lp's, a large collection for browsing.

I love all the local independent record stores. They have excellent variety of choices, vinyl, cds, dvds

Now that it's no longer the new shop on the block, Oak Park Records is a stalwart of vinyl recordings in the heart of Oak Park's burgeoning south-of-Lake restaurant and entertainment district (with plenty of recorded music in other formats, too)
