Wayside Market

Wayside Market is one of the must-stop eating places on the North Fork. The owners, Pasquale and his daughter Isabella, are truly wonderful and caring people, as is their team of great people who work there. The food is always fresh and delicious. One of the rarities in this day and age, is a family owned and run deli that still makes food on their menu from scratch and by hand with a lot of love and care. And you can taste the difference BIG time. New Yorkers can be a tough crowd to please and there's a reason why they have so many regular customers who love Wayside Market. Many people don't realize what it takes to run a business, especially in New York, where the costs are so much higher than in many other parts of the country. Come hungry and you'll leave happy. This place is hands down awesome! Two young girls working in there were so polite. The Butcher was HILARIOUS! We got him going on a rant, but very fun spirited! He was a master at trimming our steaks. Had plenty of other things from there, all were great! We will definitely go back. Also, I thought the tables outside were really unique, check them out! Thank you wayside for a great market experience.

I love a good deli and this place hit the spot! The sandwiches are so delicious and big. The bread was very fresh and above all else the staff was so friendly. Definitely going to go back the next time I am in town.

Great food, best breakfast sandwich on NOFO. The lunch sandwiches last me for two meals. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Great place to get prime meats for your summer BBQ. 5 stars all the way.

Hands down the best quality meat anywhere!!! I’ve eaten in some great steakhouses and still I’d rather go to wayside and buy a sirloin marinated and cook it myself! Seriously like butter! Sooooo good! Not to mention their roast beef is always on point! Enough meat to feed a small family! They are not shy when it comes to meat and always cooked to perfection! They are always super helpful and accommodating! Also, they have a great little market with great spices and seasonings, and marinades, (theirs will forever be my favorite) I love looking around and trying new things while I wait for my sandwich or whatever I’m getting to be made! Do yourself a favor and get a roast beef sandwich, or a steak to grill at home, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Best in the great state of New York, hands down. Best egg sandwich. Best lunch sandwich. Best meat and butcher EVER. I love their coffee. Marinades, high end dry pasta… and a wonderful crew. The list goes on and on.

My wife and I had Isabella and the Wayside team prepare wraps and salads for our bridal suites for the day of our wedding. We were so pleased with the outcome as the food was delicious and the service was fantastic.

We've also stopped in on random occasions for lunch and they make the best sandwiches!

28 day dry aged porterhouse. cooked it for friends with some helpful recommendations from the fine folks at Wayside Market. My friends said it was the best steak they have ever had. Great quality product.

My friends and I have been coming here for years.This is the only legitimate butcher in Suffolk County. The beef tastes amazing, especially the dry aged. Additionally, you get a big serving of personality from PT who, without a doubt, knows his meat! Also picked up several sandwiches yesterday, which were huge and absolutely delicious.

Wow! Really awesome experience at Wayside Market. I told Pasquale, the butcher, I was planning to make a crown roast (weird time of year, I know), but my mother-in-law had requested it for her 60th birthday. I've never made anything like this before, so he explained to me the proper way to do it. On top of that, he actually took the 20 minutes to cut the meat down perfectly, and tie the two racks together into the crown. No extra charge. This is something that would have taken me an hour easy, if I even could manage to figure out how to do it. It came out looking beautiful, and tasted even better. Will absolutely be back. Also, I got a bacon, egg, and cheese for the road, which was delicious.

Really great little deli! Their sandwiches are massive. Good prices. I had a grilled cheese and fries. The fries were seasoned and delicious. It’s very small town cutesy. Friendly staff too!

This is my favorite deli! I love the staff and the owner, PT. Great food and service. It’s clean and very friendly. They have a new gourmet section that offers lots of unique foods. I highly recommend Wayside.

My experinces at wayside have all been absolutely incredible. Perfect sandwiches, and incredible octopus. The elder gentleman with an extreme lack of hair is an absolute sweetheart. Service is great! The slightly overweight gentlemen at the counter has the most amazing senseof humour. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
