Elder's Ace Hardware- Halls

I have shopped at this store for 20 years now . Great store with helpful staff . Went to several places trying to find the correct chain for my new Stihl farm boss. Had someone at another store sell me 40$ chain for the old model . Great . Had a very nice young women with Long redish hair help me . She knew more about chainsaw chains than I do . A little embarrassing at my age but oh well. She went to the back and found the chain I needed . Thanks again. Very nice clean store I have shopped at many times.

I really can’t say enough good things about this store. Customer service is very friendly (far better than a big box store). Selection of hardware and supplies is excellent. The store is spotless. I’d rather spend my money at an excellent local store like this than at a big box competitor.

You remember seeing those neighborhood hardware stores on TV? The kind like you walk in everyone greet you and they walk you down the aisle to help you find the stuff and the person that's helping you actually knows all about whatever it is you're trying to do? That's this place. You can walk in with just some rough idea about putting up a fence and whoever you talk to is going to be able to help you flesh that out get the tools you need and give you some advice and probably talk about the weather and some sports as well. They have a great little shop in the front that has some cute HomeGoods and home decor. The garden center is just okay. Sometimes he's plans with what they could use a little bit more love but it's a great local spot. Highly recommend

Nice place. Well organized and they have a wide selection of all the basic/intermediate home care/improvement needs. Prices aren't bad and everyone seemed friendly.

I don't know why I don't go here more often. I think I will from now on more than Home Depot and Lowe's if it's something they have. It's nice to be in a smaller store and everything was so organized. Almost gave it the home touch.

Always a good spot to grab a few things, in out and easy, friendly staff, some products will be higher priced but it’s to be expected with a small business and gladly will pay the extra to support small business over corporate, as well as there aren’t any major home improvement stores nearby.
Their nut / bolt / fastener selection is absolutely astounding 😍😍😍😍😍

I have a handyman business and Ace is about as good as the big stores for selection and I've found the prices are better, finding help is better and you don't have to walk a mile to get whatever you need.

They make keys with chips in them that come with the key fob for a fraction of the price of the dealerships .. they can program them under 20 minutes or less and what would normally cost me about $500 at a Dodge dealership they fixed for a hundred and fifty bucks and the employees there are very courteous knowledgeable helpful and in general great people

I haven't been inside an Ace Hardware store in years. I was really surprised how nice this store looked and how much they had to offer besides just tools, a lot of knives, Carhartt shirts, Groove Life wallets, belts, and rings to list a few. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this location.

Finding good help is rare in this day and age... but somehow, Ace Hardware has! The employees here are very helpful... they are proactive in asking if you need anything! You don't have to hunt someone down, they make themselves available! Great pocket knife selection and home decor section... making it a great place to buy gifts!

The nicest ACE hardware I've been to. ACE brand padlocks are great and, unlike the other ACE I went to, they had plenty of stock. It's pretty big, but there were people at the front who greeted me and immediately helped me find what I needed. A+

My rating was going to be 1 to 2 stars, but the store manager Mr Rutter called me this morning. The problem well that's not important it's the handling of the problem that was important it seems nowadays companies want to find an excuse or pass the buck off to someone else when there's a problem, Mr Rutter didn't try to do that he said this was our fault we dropped the ball and I apologize for it, he didn't try to pass it off to somebody else he immediately owned it that they had made a mistake and done everything he could to make sure both parties were happy with the outcome. This is the type of character that you don't see in many people, much less businesses nowadays. I hope Ace hardware is aware of the type of character Mr Rutter manages their store with he is truly setting an example for the employees that work for him. I look forward to doing business with you in the years to come.
