Place is super cool. Every employee I've met there is extremely nice. I genuinely enjoy shopping here every time.

Always friendly and has a great selection, this little local, Uptown liquor store is super convenient and has very reasonable prices. Love this place!

Chill employees. Decent prices. I can just walk over here. They have all the different ingredients to make good cocktails at various price points and sizes. It’s easy to find things here.

This store is amazing! I love that the staff provides a friendly, comfortable and well educated experience in all things Wine, Beer & Spirits (and they now have a small selection of meats and cheeses, which makes my little Wino heart flutter!). That being said, as a fellow regular to the store for the last 2+ years, I am a little confused by the negative reviews. Asking for proof of legal age to drink is required by the state of Colorado (and literally everywhere else), which is also advertised before entering and prior to purchasing at this location. So to be baffled at the fact that someone who cares about the livelihood of their business and would prioritize following the law over acknowledging your ego, is quite frankly absurd.The owners, Dave and Kent, have gifted Uptown over the years with a fantastic shopping experience and an incredible staff. Don, Robbie, Wiley and Colin are some of the most attentive, caring and knowledgeable customer service professionals that I have ever come into contact with. I am so thankful to have such a reliable and trustworthy business in my community.

They card, because it is the law. It does not matter how many times they see your face, or how well "you" think they should know you, based on how many times a day or week you frequent the store.

They could lose their liquor license, and they don't discriminate. They ask "everyone".

You know they are going to ask for your ID, so bring it. Stop making a big federal case out of it, or go somewhere else.

They have enough customers that appreciate the awesome service that they provide to the community. They don't need your negative self serving attitude.

Love having Uptown Wines in the neighborhood!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their product. They have a fantastic selection of beer and are always happy to recommend new and different wine. They also offer a free wine tasting on Friday and Saturday, which is always good in my book! If you're in the neighborhood and need somewhere to get your alcohol fix, this is the place!!

This beverage store is very close to our condo. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has a good variety of beverages especially given it's location and size.

I love this place. All of the staff are wonderful and really knowledgable. The selection is not big, but they have all the best things. If you want some cheap stuff in a plastic bottle, this is not the place to shop. If you want some nicer hard liquor, some local beers, or some wine at basically any price point, you've found the right place.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Bring your ID. Your convenience isn't more important to them as business owners than doing their legal duty. Everyone who works here has been awesome and respectful to me and my girlfriend. Just bring your ID, because it's a liquor store and they need to check.

Love this place! They have great wine options and saff is very knowledgeable about their selections. The stylish guy that wears the scarf is fantastic and is always super helpful!

This place is great! I'm here all the time and the guys that work here are all so sweet and the shop is set up very well, I can make a beeline straight for my favorite bottle from the door!

I have dropped by numerous times to grab beer and/or wine. The guys here are very professional and always have solid recommendations. The shop is efficiently laid out and offers a fairly robust selection.

The guys here will always steer you in the right direction with their recommendations. I’ve loved everything they’ve suggested and my dog always walks out with a treat.
