Writing a review here because I couldn’t find one on the receipt where it used to be! I had such a phenomenal experience today shopping at Hot Topic! I went in today looking for earrings to pair with my outfit for a very special event next weekend. Right away when I walked in the person dressed in all white (On my receipt it says their name is Ginni) greeted me and told me about all the deals going on! So because of this, I ended up grabbing a few extra things! If they didn’t tell me about the deals, I would have never grabbed extra accessories! From there I saw this awesome hoodie all the way up on the top hanging up. I said to my friend “I wish I could reach that.” Then out of nowhere here comes Ginni coming in clutch saving the day! They grabbed them all down and helped me pick out the best one for me while having an awesome conversation with me. From there I went to check out and Kylie ended my stop at Hot Topic beautifully! I would also like to note that even though the store was busy, not a single shirt was messed up on the walls. They all kept on top of it and it looked perfect with that classic ‘Hot Topic’ fold the entire time! I went in looking to buy earrings. I left with earrings, a necklace, hair accessories, and a hoodie. Thank you to everyone there, you were all fantastic! Much love - Taylor Destroy 🤘🖤

Scaring off Karens and letting the alt community live their best lives! Even though some items are a little too expensive for what they are, I have aways felt so welcomed and loved here! Wish I could get a job but I know the waitlist is a million miles long!

Staff is always friendly and always willing to help you out.
This isn't the biggest store in crossgates so be prepared but it's always clean and well stocked with items

I still love this place...I LOVE the new layout. Still wish they would bring back their awesome tank tops they use to carry, but they still have awesome stuff.

Every time I happen to visit this Hot Topic location it is usually a great experience. Excellent variety of jewelry, fandom stuff, clothing, etc. which is what I go there for. The store is usually always clean, and most of the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have had a few negative experiences a long time ago with certain rude sales associates, but I haven't seen those certain people again for as long as I have been going here, so I assume those people aren't working at this location any more (hopefully for that reason). They have a rewards program which is very useful. Some certain things here are a little pricey and/or low quality, but rarely. Usually everything else is in a good price range/has great quality.

Absolutely one of my favorite stores!! I love how they have such a wide selection of items to purchase from so many different brands! The staff are also extremely nice and helpful with whatever I need help with, and I can't resist coming back time after time!

Employees have always been helpful every time I go! Was a little crazy around the holidays but a good store all in all

Every single time I visit this Hot Topic location I'm always excited to be there and sad to leave. The employees are so friendly and really make the atmosphere there comfortable to be in. I just went there a few days ago and I already want to go back! Please try and keep your current employees because wow they are so well versed in today's entertainments such as anime and kpop, that when you ask if HT has something they jump up to help you and are so so sweet!!!! I really prefer this location over Poughkeepsies and when it was there, kingston!

Awsome place the staff was great surprise cus they teens most don't wanna work today so these guy deserve the credit also found 2 great shirt for black friday

I love hot topic so much! They make me feel so welcome and valid. All of the workers there are so pretty and nice.(not in a weird way). I can't wait untill I'm able to work there

Friendly atmosphere and great employees if you need a band t-shirt, jewelry or even just a pin this is a great place to stop and satisfy your itch for new merch

I've been a fan since I was younger because of the clothing they offer. It's even better now with the horror memorabilia.
