St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store Toledo

There are always sales going on! I rarely pay more than $15-20 a visit. The staff are very kind and helpful. This store in particular also has a better men's selection than other competitors, and a very nice selection of shoes!

Oh my goodness how have I never been here before?? I love this place!!! The prices were fantastic. They had a bag sale for $15, I walked out with around 10 shirts at least in the bag! Don't get me started on the rest of the store!!! The best were the ladies, they were friendly and helpful!!! They even gave us paper to wrap our breakables in!!! I'd give 10 stars if I could. I'm from 50 miles away but I'll bypass Findlay ( my town) for this store any day. Hey Findlay you have some things to learn about thrift stores! It's for charity, it's not for whoever prices your items to turn into instant antique dealers and price things up ridiculously. I'm going to Toledo!! I absolutely LOVE this store! Staff is excellent (especially Heather) and so many various items to look through. This store has been my go to keep up the good work!

Very personable staff. If you collect crafting stamps they have a ton right now.

I needed mugs for sharpie mugs and some were priced $1 a piece but a volunteer offered to ask if they'd deal with me. Turns out some were on sale so that worked out.

I believe this thrift store supports a local charity. Very well merchandised and i wish I'd had time to shop the whole site. I'll definitely go back to explore.

I might have just gotten 2 rare hand painted oil paintings from a famous artist for 5 dollars each. I might just have scored the deal of a lifetime. If these paintings are legit I just made over a million dollars. I am having them appraised asap. They are obviously legitimately hand painted oil masterpieces. The only question is what the market currently goes for for this famous artist. Likely a lot more than I am expecting as he died rather recently. Nevertheless if I am not mistaken I just made a LOT of money

This is a great place to shop! I have found nice clothes and home decor. The staff is kind and helpful.

This store is impeccably clean, fantastic staff, very helpful and courteous, even when dealing with inconsiderate kind of customers, I know this for a fact as I witnessed super rude dude tried to fanagle the price down, that the price was basically a steal from jump, 👀seen all that greed first hand him relentlessly badgering them. in some instances they will work in a price ( something they've had in stock a while or that could be lowered non a price a couple dollars or something. They actually take pride in what they sell, they don't sell junk. Also theyre quite meticulous in sorting thru they're donations & what can be sold and CANNOT. All of their employees have walkie-talkies so they're in constant contact with one another. It's very professionally ran especially when covid-19 hit. They accepted their donations & contained them in a pod for at least 2 weeks to ensure staff safety and ultimately customers safety as well that was after their mandated close times. How to the STAFF. I INDEED HAVE A FEW FAVORITES
ADAM, He is a donation processor, but really does a little of everything. Will help you with big items to your car/truck ect. Or work with you for a time convenient for you to pick up. Super cool dude. Now onto my favorite employee of St. Vincent De paul thrift shop is
the lady Heather that has cashed me out numerous times, helped me find what I needed because she just knew they had one, took her time and helped me. She's the gal with all the tattoos (that some close minded folks are quick to judge right off the bat & write off
due to her tattoos🤔🙄) they couldn't be MORE W R O N G Heather she's awesome, her personality & very personable she remembers her regulars, makes ya feel comfortable & y'all will get to chit chat & before ya know it you two are laughing, & her laughs amazing also quit contagious!

This isn't your average "Thirft shop" BOR DOES IT SMELL LIKE YOUR AVERAGE THIRFT SHOP. plus they ultimately have a mission as they're a part of St. Vincent De paul.
That brings me to my next point!

Honestly since this store has been opened, I will never, well I wont say never however if I ever due I'll very seldom super rarely go into another Saver's or Goodwill again.

The store is very neat and clean. There is always a great array of merchandise with great prices! It's one of my favorite thrift stores.

I was greeted when I walked in. While, looking at some pewter bowls, was approached with "may I help you?". Very professional. Checking out I was asked if I wanted to "round up" and donate my loose change. Very nice touch.

Love this place. Super reasonable prices and great clean faculty and facility. Very organized and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're an avid thrifter such as I am.
