My favorite burrito in the Bay Area. If you don't want to have a premade one you can get the marinated steak and everything else and make it yourself.

The taqueria inside is amazing. Simple looking food but bold flavors. The fresh chips and salsa are addicting. The carne and pollo asada tacos are a must.

The burritos are as good as the rest of the reviews state. Portion sizes are hearty and the meats are well cooked and seasoned. If you go during lunch, expect to wait in line for a few minutes. The food comes out really quickly unless they are grilling a fresh batch of the filling you ordered. Highly recommend getting the California burrito!

Very clean, good customer service, food at restaurant area is tasty but a little pricey. Grocery area is always stocked & their meat selection area is great. You will find what you need to make a good Mexican dinner.

Went there to have some quick shopping for a party. Found everything needed. Place was not crowded so it was easy for me to buy. Parking is small and you may find difficulties in parking your vehicle because of narrow lanes. Staff was helpful. Prices are almost normal for everything.

This is my favorite store of their many locations. There is a taqueria in store for takeout or you can sit at one the many tables. It serves fantastic authentic Mexican food including handmade corn tortillas. The meat department of the grocery store is clean and well stocked with good quality beef and poultry. There are well trained and knowledgeable butchers behind the counter, something no longer found at most modern grocery stores.

Two words for the skirt steak - the best! Decided to grill up some protein & was told to try this local market by an old friend of mine in Redwood City. Their deli is off the charts. Choices, choices & more choices=no bad decisions. Forget Safeway & other local deli's, this is now your go to place.

There is a restaurant here that has really good Mexican food. I enjoy ordering at the counter and watching my meal being expertly prepared.
You can dine in or take out. And, the prices here are very reasonable

Best taqueria around. Absolutely anything you try on the Chavez menu, you're going to love. Whether it be their Super Nachos or Super Burritos, Chavez has the best taste, quality, and service around. If you want authentic Mexican food with outstanding taste, stop by Chavez.

Chavez Market on 5th is a favorite for my family and I! My kids can't get enough of their food from the Taqueria there. We go almost every week and absolutely love it. The market has a ton of great stuff. Their meat selection is awesome. It's super convenient for us so its a quick place to go grab just about anything we need.

One of the top locations in redwood city with premium mexican food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for quick groceries, or a quick burrito.

I went there to purchase stuff for Atole and was basically lost. 3 gentlemen, I assume managers went completely out of their way to help me find everything I needed. They were lifesavers as I hate shopping. A big giant thank you to all three. The produce looked top notch as well.

beside the store, amazing workers outside for cheap. just bring a couple to ur job site and they get it done quick

Literally the best burrito I've ever had. The supermarket is well stocked and has reasonable prices but the Taqueria!!! Don't miss out. Seriously.

I love this store. Has a good selection of fresh vegetables. It also has a good variety of food stuffs including Mexican specialities. The people at the meat counter are really helpful. The in-store taqueria is excellent.

The store was excellent good quality all cashier's were veryproffessipnal friendly smart but what I was very dissatisfied was the recycling in the back this guy just started an agument right off and said they were closed for lunch it was around 11:30 I came back he started to be rude mean he didn't know how to talk or treat customers from what I seen he told me he wasn't goona give any service I said I'll call the police which I should of done but instead I call the co reported him it will go to his supervisor I think his supervisor was in on it all I did approach him and ask him did you hear the was this employee is talking to me treating he just shook his look was no I don't want even get involved seriously it is a crazy nightmare I'm having I ended up at another recycling place waited another two hrs all for whooping 15.00 the pain agany stressful day just one of those days I guess I don't know if I want to go do my recycles anymore I still will think about it next time DFT
