DICK'S Sporting Goods

This morning, I placed an online order for in store pickup for an item that was listed as “1 left in stock” and was nervous that the item may not actually be available, given that sometimes items listed as “in stock” may not be up to date or accurate. I arrived to the store within 10 minutes of their opening and since I hadn’t received an alert that my item was ready, expected to wait until it was retrieved. To my surprise, the item was ready and waiting! That means that someone in the store was hard at work filling online orders even before the doors opened. Kayla was prompt and professional and did a great job of asking for my name and confirmed my identity by asking for my ID. As a customer who has placed a lot of online orders for items to pick up in store at various stores including Target etc, it was obvious to me that she was well trained and that there was a procedure for all in-store pick-up items. I was also looking for another item which I asked her for some guidance in directing me to where I might find the item, and she happily walked me to a nearby stand where they were located, saving me loads of time. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes, and very glad I was helped by Kayla, as I have a very busy day ahead. The customer service Kayla provided was 10 out of 10. In a day and age where I’ve come to expect my interactions with store staff to be lackluster and even disappointing/upsetting, this pleasant surprise really started off my Friday on a high note and made me all the more eager to enjoy the long holiday weekend. Thanks, Kayla! I really appreciate all your help this morning. Keep up the stellar work!

I recently had a complicated issue with a shoe order at the Collegeville, PA store. The staff really went above and beyond to help me resolve everything. The managers Jim & Colleen were really helpful and responsive. Kanika was L1 support when I called customer service and she was great. Everyone likes to complain about things online, but they deserve a shout-out at least.

Scott in athletic shoe dept was very helpful and knowledgeable ! Take their free gait review so you can purchase the right type of shoe. Also, they sell orthotic inserts like Superfeet, good to know since Eastern Mountain sports closed which was near here.

The staff was incredibly friendly as I had an order that was for more difficult than I expected and they were nothing but polite and patient the entire time.

Bought another bike, this time for myself. Wanted to get back into mountain biking, but didn't want to pay pro bike prices. Steve in the bike area is a badas$. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. I chose my bike and he immediately took another bike of his tech stand and started going over the bike as I paid for it. I did stress that I was aware these things are sometimes just thrown together. I was literally leaving the store for a 33mile ride so wanted it dialed in the best he could. He did what he said and I was very happy with the bike overall. The entire time he was extremely pleasant and outgoing, and helpful. I hope this review reaches him and he continues to keep his customer service top notch! Thanks again Steve. Have to get 2 more bikes for my son's so we'll be back eventually!

Antonio in the bikes section was very knowledgeable! You can tell he has a true passion for bikes. We shopped on Memorial Day around noon and it was quite busy yet he did not rush us and gave us great attention. We came in to buy one bike and ended up purchasing 2! Thanks Antonio for the wonderful service!

Exceeded my expectations. Spoke with Samantha on the phone, although they were super busy she took the time to double check if something was in stock & reassured me that the store was open. Reiley in the water sports area was so kind and helped us pick the perfect kayak & accessories. He made sure we were pleased with the items. At no time did we feel pressured to buy anything. Reiley needs to be recognized for going the extra mile & superior customer service not only with us but with the 4 other customers he assisted while we were there! Thank you Reiley, your help was greatly appreciated!!

The associates and management at the Collegeville store went above and beyond my expectations for customer service! Saturday my family and I visited the store because our Basketball league offered a 1 day 20% discount. They were very busy, Brandon in the shoe department assisted me with finding the most comfortable stylish sneakers. When i got to the register I was told I could not purchase the sneakers as they had not been released yet. They offered to hold them for me, advised they would call me when they are released and offered to apply the 20% off discount even though it was only for Saturday use. Later that day Associate Brandon left me a message apologizing to let me know it was a computer error and I could come purchase the shoes. I was unable to get there later that day and actually forgot about the sneakers. Today, 4 days later I received another phone call this time from Manager Becky, again apologizing for the mishap and offered an additional 10% off!! I couldn’t believe it, after dinner I ran to Dick’s to get my new kicks and was greeted by Brandon who again apologized and was so happy to see I was getting the shoes I wanted. Thank you Brandon and the rest of the staff for going out of your way to make my shopping experience a pleasant one!

Came here by mistake thinking I was supposed to be at kop location but was to be here and this one is really good, big , spacious lots of brands to choose from friendly and courteous staff seems like this area of Pennsylvania is big on golf cause they have a wide selection of golf equipment and apparel. What an amazing staff. My daughter found a pink soccer ball and would not put it down, shes 2. When I was at the register checking out my daughter would not let the ball go. When I tried to remove it to put it back she started crying. I told the cashier I would walk to the car and return the ball as soon as I put her in the car. While I was loading the car one of the employees (I wish I had his name) told me to keep it and he would take care of it. I told him it wasnt neccessary, he insisted. What a great act of kindness. Whether he paid for the ball himself or in-stored it, that was truly a genuine experience. Thank you collegeville store. Russ and Abby.

Had just what i needed. Which is saying something considering i plat tennis and their tennis section is a little lacking, but they do great stringing jobs. Its not advertised because they do not have many people to do it, but high quality stuff. The strings last me 6 months when i use Luxilon.

Dick's Sporting Goods of Collegeville never lets you down. I give them 5 stars for their customer service. I returned a TaylorMade golf bag where the stitching was coming out. NO Hassles whatsoever. I will start buying all my sporting goods there from now on.
