Don Barrow is the best! I live in Raleigh so I wasn’t able to shop in person. I gave him a call, sent him a couple inspiration pictures, and he got THE perfect couch delivered to me in perfect condition! This couch is exactly what I wanted for my new home. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and they have such a wide variety it was hard to choose which one was my favorite! They also did a great job of showing me options within my price range. The delivery guys were excellent, the couch came in 3 sections and they put it together for me! I will definitely be shopping here again in the future! 🤩

They have lots of couches and chairs to choose from and they have other furniture there. I just wanted a couch and I love my couch. Delivery is cheap and the guys that delivered it was very good and people work there are very helpful.

We needed a sleeper sofa for our condo and shopped around at several stores. We were appalled at the false advertising made by some. But Furniture and Mattresses had a great selection, a fair price and their delivery charges were very reasonable in comparison to the others. And the delivery persons were very professional in every way. We would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of furniture. We will start our shopping at this store from now on.

The owner, Don was excellent to work with! Very professional, friendly, and timely. Made sure all furniture needs were met and treated us very fairly. Even from out of state Don went above and beyond! We will use again due to the customer service and experience we had!

Let me save you time, money and aggravation. Just shop here! I walked in completely stressed out with 24 hours to buy furniture and have it delivered. I met Linda who took the time to listen to my needs and woes. With no “ sales “ pressure she showed me piece’s tailored exactly to my needs. I was able to purchase a bed set, frame, end tables, dresser AND a table for the same price as only a dresser and 1 night stand I had seen at another store. Delivery arrived shortly after I left the store. The gentlemen set everything up quickly, professionally, and with a smile! This was the best shopping experience I’ve ever had. I had a wonderful experience at Furniture and Mattress, from the warm welcome when I first walked through the door. This store met all my needs and gave me service which was most important. The fact that they have plenty of stock and the best prices at the beach was the best part, with quality furniture, and same day delivery! The delivery drivers were respectable and strong and even though some areas were hard to configure how they were going to get our purchases in our new home…They got it done with a smile! Thank you for doing what you said you would…which is hard to come by. Looking forward to my next visit ;)

I visited this store after going to several others. To be transparent, the exterior didn’t grab my attention but I’m so glad I read others reviews and stopped in! The people working there are so helpful! The owner also talked to me some! Most of all I found exactly what I wanted and bought 3 items all delivered within a week! (I could have had 2 items the same day but the bed I wanted was on order and I could wait.). From now on for my furniture needs this store will be my first stop!

Great prices on furniture. Huge amounts of inventory. I was looking for furniture for new house and they have an huge selection. Prices were excellent and far cheaper than local competitors. Strongly recommend and great customer service!!!

Furniture and Mattress store was recommended to us by a neighbor. My wife and I visited the store and were impressed with the quality of the furniture and extensive inventory.
We were greeted by Don Barrow, the Owner who explained the pricing and inventory. After walking through their expansive inventory, we found a set we were interested in. We were very pleased with the price offered and that the set could be delivered the next day.
The set was delivered the next day in the time frame requested. With the layout of our Condo building, Elevator and Unit layout, it was a Huge challenge for both the incoming furniture and the OLD furniture that was being removed and taken. After careful moving throughout,
the delivery crew were able to get the new in and old furniture out and were polite and professional.
Will use again and strongly recommend. We Love the furniture

Best furniture store in the area ! I just got a recliner from there today, shopped other places but they were way too expensive . I bought it at 1pm and it was delivered by 2pm ! Since moving here 5 1/2 years ago I have purchased all my furniture from here and am very pleased with it all

We purchased living room and beds from them great price. Same day or next day delivery. Staff is helpful and friendly never had a bad experience. Great hours worth a stop you will not be disappointed!!!

My wife and I bought a sofa recently from Furniture and Mattress, Little River, S.C. We could not be more delighted with the selection, the price, and the customer service by Mr. Don Burrow and Mr. David Gilmore. I would like to mention the outstanding delivery personnel who brought us the sofa. They were most professional and very careful to protect both the sofa and our walls and floor as it was a difficult "squeeze" getting it through our small entrance and kitchen at our CONDO. You will not find a better option in the Grand Strand area if you are in need of home furnishing.

We needed a sofa for a beach condo. Ron and his staff helped us out by delivering our sofa in one day quick and easily. It was the best sofa for our needs/size/price that we found after going to many stores. Best price on old sofa pickup too. Very pleasant experience!

Went to Furniture & Mattresses today to look for a desk. When we came in David greeted us. He had such a great personality that I knew he was going to help us. His patience, personality was fabulous & he was extremely professional. When asked a question he was upfront & honest with every answer which I think is very important. The store had so many great options to choose from. I would recommend Furniture & Mattresses to anyone looking for good quality furniture.

My wife and I were looking for a really comfortable sleeper sofa for our CONDO at North Myrtle Beach, S.C. After looking at a number of furniture stores in North Myrtle as well as Myrtle Beach, we found just what we were looking for at Furniture and Mattress. Not only was our salesperson, Mr. David Gilmore incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, he was a delightful individual to get to know. He was not the least bit ""pushy" are overpowering. He allowed us to look at our own pace and be totally sure that the sofa we selected was just right for us. As an architect, and as the son of a man who was in the furniture business here in Sumter, SC all my life, I can assure you that you will not find a better furniture store or better people to do business with than Furniture and Mattress, Little River, SC. I will not look anywhere else whenever I need additional furnishings for my CONDO or my home here in Sumter, SC. I highly recommend both Mr. Gilmore and the owner, Mr. Barrow for any need you might have in the home furnishing category.

Best furniture store for price and availability. Both visits I found what I was looking for and they delivered my furniture the same day . Friendly staff at the store and the delivery set up guys were great. I did go to several other stores but they could not guarantee all my pieces would arrive on the dates they scheduled. In this store you see it.you buy it and it’s yours no waiting on a container from china to be unloaded.I never write reviews but I felt that I needed to share a good buying experience.

We were hunting sofas for our beach house and didn’t want to make a ton of stops so were super glad to find this spot. Great prices and the selection was perfect. Tons of items Made in the USA which is important to me. Locally owned and the owner helped us, even better.

Next day delivery was inexpensive (and they only charge the landfill fee for hauling off the stuff you can’t give away or sell).

No need to buy from Amazon or Wayfair or Overstock-buy from a neighbor instead!
We’ll be back!

Go see Don and get everything you need. Best prices and a ton of selection even with the demand through the roof these days. We stop in sometimes just to see if there’s anything we might need. Last time we bought two colorful glider chairs and a couch for our beach house. They helped us load our truck and I believe they do local delivery no problem. Huge place!
