The Shade Store

Denise was so helpful in achieving the look I wanted to accomplish. She worked with me from the small swatches of material I had from my furniture ( not yet delivered) to achieve the correct color. I liked the drapes and shades so much that I ordered drapes for my master bedroom. Measuring and installation was a very smooth process.

When we bought our new home in Henderson NV, we knew one of the 1st things that had to be done was to get rid of the old style, heavy drapes in the primary bedroom.

We are not normally the "designer" type folks but we knew these windows were tall and the associated French doors (3) would take a special touch. We were in the District at Green Valley Ranch for lunch and came across The Shade Store. We decided to go in and take a chance - if nothing else we knew their advice would be valuable.

We were greeted immediately by Denise and Maureen and WOW'd by the selections they had. These ladies reviewed our needs, went over the available fabrics and options and explained their operation to us. We were SOLD!

Within days of our initial discussion, a gentleman came out and measured the openings and reviewed our decision. Denise provided us with the followup information concerning design, manufacturing and potential install dates. We were also advised the new materials would be delivered to our home - we liked that because it takes some of the guess work out of the project. Having a professional Designer involved was paying off!

A couple of days before our install date, we received a call from The Shade Store Team to verify our details and confirm availability.

On the install date, we received a call from Pedro advising he was enroute. Pedro came in, reviewed the project and got right to work. We were impressed as he laid out all the components, took away all the packing materials before he started the install, and went right to work. We should note that removing the old drapes and hardware was our responsibility.

In what seemed like no time, Pedro called us into the bedroom and demonstrated the new shades and ensured the rollers worked smoothly. The new shades provided so much more light and made the room look larger. Removing the old, heavy drapes made a huge difference.

To say our Shade Store experience was awesome is an understatement. Denise answered all our questions upfront and provided excellent customer service. Maureen was following our plans and the process to make sure every "base" was covered. And Pedro was our rock star hero.

There's lots of options when it comes to decorating but when you have something unusual or just clueless (as we were) it's best to go with the Professionals. We would highly recommend the Team at The Shade Store in the District at GVR.

Denise from the Henderson store was just spectacular. She was knowledgeable and her vision for design is incredible. I appreciate her warm attitude and answering any question I had along the way. I love how each of my rooms look. Thank you so so much!

We needed sun shades for 2 large sliding glass windows in our new house and got an ad card in the mail from the Shade Store. We went over to check it out in Henderson and met Marlene Wilson. She did a marvelous job of guiding us to choose what we needed. We then had a professional measurement done, ordered what we wanted and had a very efficient and excellent installation done. The whole process was seamless and our new shades fit the bill exactly. I cannot recommend Marlene and the Shade Store highly enough!

A fantastic experience and a flawless result!! Marlene deserves 10 stars. She was SO patient and pleasant throughout the process, and her design ideas were right on. (Denise in the showroom and Anthony & the installation guys also deserve kudos.) We bought a combo of solar shades & fabric Roman shades, some under the Shade Store label and some by Lutron. They look great and the automation is just fantastic. I recommend the Shade Store most highly.

Marlene at The Shade Store in The District was a doll. She knows the true meaning of customer service. From calls to emails, she kept me abreast of our project from beginning to end. The showroom was beautiful and helpful. Complete with complimentary sparkling water to enjoy while I looked through fabrics. The in-home installation was seamless and very professional. All the way to steaming the wrinkles out of my new drapes. Thank you!

I worked with Denise Vaske for shades and blinds for multiple rooms in my new house and I love the results. Denise patiently walked me thru options, fabrics, and colors, and even tho I live in Chicago and she's out of NV, the distance and time change didn't affect a thing. Her expertise and eye for design is spot on, and I'd recommend that anyone work with her for window treatments.

Denise, and the team were great to work with. Amazing customer service, and friendly. Better experience than I could have imagined. No point to ever use anyone else. Highly recommend the Shade Store.
