They are customer-first, the staff is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and they carry only the highest quality shoes and accessories. Andrew waited on me this time. He helped me find a perfect pair of shoes along with custom insoles that suit my needs. I highly recommend this local gem over any impersonal national corporate location or online, especially if you are looking for shoes which emphasize function, fit, and performance rather than just a nice looking pair of kicks.

What a great place to go if you are looking for running, walking, or exercise shoes! The service was outstanding with expert professional fitting and recommendations. Both my wife and I got fittings, were shown many great targeted options, and finished our visit with new shoes. They have great selection across all the major brands and many less widely available brands. It's clear why they are "Best in Chattanooga".

This was a great shoe buying experience. I'm post-knee surgery and I needed new workout shoes for PT and the gym. Amanda was so helpful!

I love shopping at Front Runner! Exceptional service. They are always happy to order something if they don’t have exactly what you like. Everyone is so friendly! They have a great selection of socks, shoes, running attire and gadgets, and Goodr sunglasses. I also highly recommend the Powerstep insoles they sell. I even buy them to stick in my nicer/dressier sneakers. Highly recommend!

I went into Front Runner to buy a swimsuit, goggles and a swim cap. The staff was super friendly, and they had some kid toys so my daughter could play while I shopped and tried on some things.This really shows they've thought about their customers' experience. They had a large variety of sizes, and several styles to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back next time I need swim or running gear.

I have bought four pairs of shoes from this place and the experience has always been excellent. I have bought 3 pairs of Hokas and one pair of Altras. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is great and the are very attentive in finding a shoe that fits yout needs not just one that fits your foot. Wendy helped me the last time I was in the store and she was great. They are the same or similar on price with big box stores but far superior service.

Great place to get athletic shoes. I have Plantar Fasciitis and the young man that waited on me, was very kind, patient and very knowledgeable about the type of shoes I needed. Highly recommend!

This Front Runner Athletics store has been around a long time...It has its own individual building on the outskirts from the mall on Hixson Pike. This mall is Northgate Mall less than a mile away. This is only less than six miles from the 💜 of tourism aquarium , and etc. A lot of tourists, Iron man athletes, and locals use this athletic 👟 store.Our area has been one of the fastest growing areas in Chattanooga. There are now shopping 🛒🛍 stores , upscale restaurants, Sportsbars, Hotels 🛏, gas stations ⛽, and more convenient stores.This growth has our Scenic City 🏙 🌆 as one of the most popular places to visit in the country. Speaking of growth Front Runner is conviently located, and are able to compete with other athletic stores. There is no traffic 🚦 or mall walking to get to the store. I have shopped here in the past , and purchased some really Cool 😎 good running 👟. They are an excellent supporter of FCA. They support , and sponsor many other athletic groups as well. They are definitely able to hold their own weight 💪. There are name brand apparel including clothes, as well as shoes. The Management and Owners are always Professional, and Friendly, They certainly will offer , and recommend the best of their service. This is whether you are walker , runner , young , or older. This is the premier shoe store in the Hixson area!

My wife and I arrived a couple minutes after closing due to traffic, and she desperately needed new running shoes. After we tried the door, it was locked, but the owner (I assume) came to the door and let us in! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and within 10 minutes, my wife and I BOTH left went a new pair of On Clouds. We're very happy with these shoes and we highly recommend Front Runner Athletics for all your shoe needs.

The salespeople are very knowledgeable, know what type shoe works best for you and even are a pretty good judge of what style/colors you would like.

I'm not a runner. Period. But he service here is amazing, for everyone. I needed to find better tennis shoes as my feet had been hurting for a while. I was greeted immediately upon entering and within seconds I was discussing my issues and my walk was being evaluated. I was brought a selection of shoes to try and was able to find the ones I loved. I even learned that I had been wearing the wrong size! Plus I had 30 day to actually WEAR the shoes and bring them back if I wasn't happy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were interested in why I wanted new shoes and were determined to help me find the best fit possible. The extra care and attention helped me to feel very confident in my purchase. As a person who is used to going into a shoe store and staring at a wall of shoes, this experience sold me on coming back to this store to get the right shoes.

This is the first shoe store that I have been to in many years where they actually truly measure and fit for shoes. They always ask what worked for you in the past, but also have you try different brands of shoes. Options are always nice! Also, with each different shoe, they tell you what the manufacturer made the inner shoe of and how that can help or how that improved the shoe.

As soon as I walked in the door the service was excellent. Not pushy but helpful. First Athletics shop that catered more to women. Most have small selections. Only place that had the hard to find shoes that are sold out at academy and the like. Love the brooks ariels! Great selections and service.
