Savers

I always like visiting this Savers and usually end up with some item to purchase when I come here. The store is pretty clean and organized. It always seems to be staffed well and the staff I have had interactions with are very friendly. Prices here are very reasonable too. Before Halloween, they had a lot of costumes, wigs, accessories, etc., and I thought that was a unexpected surprise! I definitely enjoy shopping here for one off things and just browsing for old knick-knacks!

Shout out to Richie for being so freaking cool! Really nice and kind man, saw a sectional couch outside and admired it as we were leaving, we asked and he said he would put a sold sticker on it and hold it for us so we can come pick it up after Thanksgiving! Such a kind guy!

This is the best thrift store in the area, hands down. I always find some really good quality items here at low prices. I bring all my donations here also. I was a big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program years ago. This is a great cause. Don't take your stuff to those yellow bins of Planet Aid folks. Planet Aid is convenient, but find the Charity Watch rating. They don't donate those clothes to anyone. They resell them. Be advised. Take the time to bring your items here. The 20% discount you receive from donating goes a long way towards items you might purchase. A great store and a great cause

Very noisy and busy. I was surprised. But found some really good deals on Pyrex so that's a plus. Also it has been a while since I went so I was unprepared for the almost exclusively self check checkout. I think there was only 1 regular register open. Gotta buy or bring bags, but at least you can wrap and bag your items the way you want lol.

Great price to brighten an 8 year Olds room.

A troop of employees helped us empty our 2 SUVs full of toys, sports equipment, and clothes that we donated, gave us a coupon for the store. They were efficient, polite, and quite helpful. Love that our donations help Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Great store. So many options. Prices better than goodwill or salvation army. Cool check out system. Wish I had had more time to spend there that day!

My BFF and I stopped by Savers on Shnwe Missn Pkwy. We were just spending time, chatting, catching up on current news. She was looking for a few items for the sweet little senior ctzn she takes care of. They had some good choices to pick from, fantastic prices. I found a book, I had been looking for. We had such a good time. The store was very clean, clothes were hung neatly & not crammed on the racks. The assoc., were very busy of couresearch, but when we asked a ?, they all were polite, helpful and helpful me reach items above my head as I'm in a wheelchair. VERY, very pleasant afternoon. Thank you Savers employees....GREAT JOB!

This location is definitely clothing heavy. I found several nice name brand pieces for my 4T toddler. Prices are steeper than I'm used to at at thrift store, though everything on the rack was in good condition so I supposed you pay a premium for that service. Clean store, very nice staff, quick checkout experience.

I go here when I need new work shirts for a cheap price. And for random stuff like this set of steps.😉

I absoutely love Savers. They have the best of everything thrifty. I am never disappointed going there. Super great prices, friendly staff and clean store. Its organized so it's easy to find what you are looking for.

I love it! The fact that it supports a great cause is what takes me back there to donate and shop. Clean and well organized.

Thrift shopping in KC is one of the most productive ways to go. I’ve been thrift shopping in several states and they are absolutely nothing like KC. There’s always brand new off season hardly used or worn items. People my complain about value, but when it comes to facilities like Savers in the Kansas City area, they are using quality control to pick out the best items out of peoples mysterious donation piles of who knows what. So I’m more willing to pay a little extra to not shift around in a tub of mystery to find things and later know their lack of functionality. I’m a big savers fan. If you donate items you can choose to get a 20% off coupon. And around holidays they do sales 30-50% off clothes etc It’s all about timing.

At other thrift stores, their pieces are dingy and look like they are being sold 3rd rate rather than the newer conditions of the clothing at Savers. I found many cute shirts with great materials and throughly had a great experience and would come here again!

I had never been to a savers before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find some Herb Alpert records ( $0.99 each!!!) and a windbreaker for less than $20. I will definitely be back!

This place is one of my favorite thrift stores. I've always found the pieces I needed, be it for a new job or the renaissance fair. I even scooped up a great deal on a Kitchen Aid stand mixer here one time, you just never know what you'll find!

Love this place. I found a sweater here with the origanal price tag at $200.00 for only $20.00 cant beat the deals I find here. Staff helps load larger purchuses and gives excellent service. They let you plug in and test out any electric powered items before buying to ensure they work properly.

If you are a bargain hound, you don't want to miss this store. I would call it an upscale second hand store. I purchased a current year, nearly new, Coach purse that retails at $420, for $25.

They have a lot of options for discounted clothing and it is a clean place. A lot of good things for someone who needs cheap work pants or tops. Also saw some fun prom or formal dresses for the younger ladies.
