This is a great locally owned board game shop. The owner was super friendly and took the time to help me pick out just the right game. They have tablespace for games and events weekly. If you're in the area check them out you will not be disappointed! The shop had a really friendly feel making it easy to stay and play. 😊

This place is awesome! We needed a space in our community for people to gather and participate in games, and this place does exactly that! The physical space is clean and the merchandise is stocked well. I have sold and bought trading cards here, and the process is seamless and very fair. The staff is always courteous and is very knowledgable. They were also super welcoming to my two year old! Highly recommend for anyone looking to build a community surrounding their hobbies!

I recently made the trek down (up? Over? There's no way to know) to Tap N Roll from RVA. We have quite a few game shoppes here, but not a lot of places that host free D&D events. So, when I saw that Tap was having a holiday one shot and event. I knew that I had to go. The event was fantastic, of course. But, more importantly, the store itself was amazing. Such a vast array of games and gear with an ever helpful crew of folks there to help you find what you need (even if you yourself didn't know that you needed it...). The store is well organized and just perfect. While it may be a bit of an adventure to get there. I think it's certainly worth it. Plan on going there for any and all of future mes gaming needs.

I heard about this store about 2 weeks ago, The family and I were finally able to make it up there this past Saturday. The experience was awesome! Great people and the vibe was also awesome. Great conversations with the owner/tapNroll team. The owner let me use his own personal PC to visit their site to go through their Lorcana singles. Also, the owner gave my daughter some paper to draw and color on to keep her entertained (Its the little things that make you stand out). Just a great overall store with great people, great customer service, and professionalism! You guys will have a repeat customer for sure. Thank you for a great experience!

Had a great experience with Tap N Roll online ordering - easy to browse website, easy to make my purchase! The game I ordered was well priced and delivered in a timely fashion. Would definitely order from them again.

The staff were great and super friendly. The store had a good selection of products from model kits to magic cards. I would strongly recommend if your in the area to stop by and take a look.

I ordered a playmat online and had an absolutely wonderful experience. When I placed my order, I received a beautiful email from the owners welcoming me and providing more information about the store. It was such a nice touch. They shipped out the playmat immediately and I got it within just a few days despite being in another state. They have a great variety of products and amazing customer service. 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered online as I am not local. My order was processed almost immediately and shipped out the following day. The item was actually reasonably priced, which is amazing since most places were price gouging at the time for Lorcana. I've ordered from them several times and will continue to do so.

It's the best! You can tell the people in charge like to play a variety of games and had a specific feel in mind when they opened and they achieved it. It's comfortable and easy to play as a community and has all the products you're looking for or offered to find them. Glad to see them growing to support the gaming community in Williamsburg.

A wonderful card shop with a little bit of everything ranging from Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and much more! Nice selection of accessories to choose from and the staff is amazing by themselves! They have an awesome community out reach traveling/hosting to local breweries which is also a nice addition.

Great selection of table top games at competitive prices. Excellent customer service and ensured that we found what we were looking for. Lastly, offered information for local gaming events besides those that were scheduled at their own store.

This is one of the best stores I've been to. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming, it felt like I was coming home. Probably the best part of the store is Jeremy, it was my first time in the store (and being from New York), I went for a prerelease and throughout the night, he was checking in on me and remembered my name. It may seem small but is huge to me, after going to several LGS consistently back home for several years where they don't know me from a hole in the wall, THIS is the kind of place you go to find a great group of people to play with. I can't recommend it enough and if I could rate higher I would. 11/5 stars

An awesome store with very welcoming and helpful hosts.

Have recently gotten into playing TCG games and went here first as it's closest to my house. The people that work here are great and more than helpful, take time to explain things to me and steer me in the right direction based off the things i enjoy. Everytime i go in there they go above and beyond to help, Love this place!

Excellent locally owned and operated place for casual and competitive gamers alike. You can expect an inviting and enthusiastic gaming community, fair prices, good inventory, a clean store, and friendly, helpful staff. If you’re new to TCG or tabletop gaming they will get you set up to learn the ropes or they’ll find someone in their gaming community who can help you.

Store owner, Jeremy, is extremely personable, helpful, accommodating and open to all sorts of ideas. His passion for the business, and for fostering an excellent gaming community, is obvious from the moment you meet him.

It can get a bit packed in the store at times, which is really a testament to the enthusiasm that the owner, staff, patrons, and players have for this place. I am excited to see how they will continue to expand and grow on what they’ve already built.

I’m a Magic player, so most of my experience is with MtG events and players. The store has a very active commander community and also has standard events and sealed prerelease events. However, they also have active communities of players in other TCGs and tabletop RPGs so if you are looking for an LGS from which to get your gaming supplies, to meet new people that share your hobby, to participate in organized gaming events, or just to play casual games with other folks in the community, then I cannot recommend Tap n Roll highly enough.

I live in Florida and was looking for Disney Lorcana starter decks for my kids for Christmas. Unfortunately, there is a huge resell market for the CCG, and many places are selling them at high markups. I found Tap N Roll after searching online a bit and found the sets I needed at a close to MSRP price, and with shipping, it was still much less than most resellers that had bought up all the decks. I received the shipment recently and was very satisfied with the speed of service from ordering to receiving the product. I would highly recommend them for any product you might be looking to purchase!

Friendly staff and good service. Just recently bought a yugioh booster box and some good pokemon singles, and they are all in great condition! Love how you professionally put the singles in a cardboard case unlike some other card shops I’ve been to in Newport News. Will return.

Bought a MTG bundle online for cheaper than anywhere else. Received it very quickly and well packed. Great overall experience and for a great price.

The owner is really nice and welcoming. He creates a good atmosphere for both newcomers and experienced players. This is our preferred place to go for TCG needs and play.

Great community, perfect for people looking for a regular place to play! I stop by at least once a week just to get some games in. The other reviews made all the better points already.
