Vines & Rushes Winery

My friend and I spent the day roaming around parts of Wisconsin looking for cute vineyards, and this was by far our absolute favorite! The staff at Vines & Rushes were so friendly and welcoming. I went home with a bottle of course, and loved hearing the history behind the property. If you’re like us, and looking for the perfect cheese and wine spot… THIS IS IT!

Stopped by on a whim for a little wine tasting. The woman that did the wine tasting was chatty (good chatty) and gave a lot of fun information about the wines they offered. We stayed for a glass of wine and tried the pizza. We ended up grabbing a bottle of wine for a gift and will certainly be back next time we are in the area.

Matt was great- very friendly, set us up with multiple types of wine and I finally found a wine that I actually like I’ve been looking for eight years .

Ice wine St Pepin, 2019 – single varietal harvested in middle of the winter best, pressed while frozen, honey, and candied apricot flavor

This is a must when visiting Wisconsin! I loved every minute I was there. The staff are absolutely amazing, definitely some of the most friendly people I have met. We got to go on a little tour of the winery and meet everyone and the history of how everything started. The wine was absolutely great, such a large selection, with something for everyone! They also make their own sauces and dressings which I highly recommend. The oven brick cooked pizza is simply the best, as fresh as it gets.the atmosphere is beautiful, Will definitely coming back to vist, had a great time!! Definitely the highlight of my trip to Wisconsin!!

Excellent pizza, love that you can order and pay right away rather than wait for a bill when your done. Live music is great, beautiful atmosphere. It's nice that you can refill your own water. The wine and cider are top notch. Its nice they have games to play to play! Highly recommend!!

FANTASTIC pizza like the best in the area and very very good wines. Awesome atmosphere for date night or getting together with family. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!

What a wonderful wine tasting and tour of the annual grape smashing today! Combined with the consistently delicious farm to table food, spirited music, and perfect new fall day… 5-Stars!!! ❤

Their brick oven pizza is SO GOOD! My favorite was a veggie pizza with mushrooms and corn, it was really unique and delicious. The vineyard makes for beautiful scenery, open spaces and big windows are inviting, and they feature art and eclectic music year round. The atmosphere was collared shirt casual and vibrant, even though it was off the beaten path the dining room was packed, and smiling.

Excellent pizza, diverse wine menu, and great atmosphere! Just 20 minutes from Oshkosh in the scenic countryside outside of Ripon, this is a great place to visit if you’re a fan of brick oven pizza and local wine!

Very nice place, awesome knowledgeable staff - very relaxing environment. Wide variety of wines, and they are delicious.

I hate to review this place but i must!!! My wife and i went there for their 6th anniversary. We found the most incredible place!! Wood fired gourmet pizza and really good wine. They also have cheese and wine tasting. Pizza only takes about 2 minutes!! Plus last night they had local acoustic guitar player singer. They also have a nutty brown ale. If you have read my reviews, there are not enough stars! Pizzas are only 10-15 dollats. Best experience I've had in a while. Going in February to a farm to table dinner there. Will let you know.
Update: My wife and coworkers from kwik trip went last night 2/1/19. Had a great time. She was really impressed again. Looking forward to next Saturday.

A delightful and incredible destination for wine, beer, and pizza. Enjoy the porch as you sip on your favorite beverage. Just a beautiful place!

The wine here is good and we recommend doing a tasting because they are all very different. We took our time to find the ones we liked. The woman serving the tastings was friendly, she knew a lot about the winery and answered our questions with patience. It was fortunate we were there when it wasn’t busy.
The pizza here is outstanding. We had the Garlic Twins without meat. The salads were also good - you could tell the dressing was house made.
Overall we were impressed with the winery and would definitely go back!

Very nice for an afternoon. We ordered the hummus platter and asked them to do gf pizza crust instead of pita. Also shared beet salad. Enjoyed St Pepin dry white wine. It was all very good. Highly recommend.

Love Vines & Rushes. 2nd visit. Great wine, food, and service. Attached to bike trail for riding or walking experience too.

Spent a great afternoon tasting the different wines and listening to great live music. The wines are great with all Wisconsin grown grapes. Morgan was great, very knowledgeable on the wines and the stories behind the names.
We didn’t eat the wood fired pizza but it looked and smelled great.
