Stepped in browse through their vinyl records collection , I was greeted upon entrance . This store is pretty cool, they have a lot of vintage items such as cassettes, vinyl records, vhs , tshirts, posters , etc.

I love digging in crates looking for classic music on vinyl .

They buy vintage items music item also.. Cool store great staff!!!

What a cool store, I recently got back into vinyl, and they have a really great selection. Everything is categorized and in alphabetical order, so it's all real easy to find. I picked up a couple of albums, and I'll definitely be back.

Came here for Record Store Day. Despite all the chaos (we camped out starting at 1am), the staff here did an amazing job. They handed out tickets to the first 24 people who wanted the Taylor Swift RSD vinyl since that is how many copies they had. That made it really easy and simple, and we were able to browse the store some before checkout. The also had donuts and the staff were very helpful in trying to find other vinyls! Highly recommend for next year's RSD

Great customer service! Had a pressing defect and took it back. They threw it on, verified, and swapped the album for me super easily. They even opened to check the swap and allowed me to listen before leaving the store! Got home and the album played beautifully. Thanks again!

The place is full of intelligent and gnarly people. Every single one of them is super dope and inviting. I've been going for around 5-4 years and have never been disappointed with anything. If you're looking for some cool people to talk to about various things and browse music, skate gear, smoking gear, and other super dope things, it's a 100000% recommendation

Cool people. Super chill. I like how they're real and don't put on a show for you like some places do. They're nice, will help you if you need and otherwise just let you check out what they got and do your own thing, which I very much appreciate, as opposed to being in your face the whole time. Its a pretty easy set-up to find whatever you're looking for. I'm a record guy, so after my first time there I quickly learned the layout and can easily find whatever I'm looking for and know to where to go to check out the newest stuff that's come in. I don't know much about the other stuff they sell, but seeing their interactions with other customers I can tell they're very knowledgeable about those products as well as the tunes. And they do special orders. So if they don't have it, they can get it for you, if it can be got. And the prices are legit. I've sold some records, as well and they gave me a fair deal on cash. If you're in the area, I'd recommend anyone into records to check them out. And for other needs you may have. Always smells good in there too. Positive vibes.

When I was younger I remember going to the cd's section in stores and seeing a vast collection of stoner rock albums and metal albums I had never seen before! This store scratched that itch i was needing! I could not resist the urge of buying several cd's! definitely found some gems! although pricey! very worth it!

Helpful and chill staff. They have a great selection and I’ve found a ton of Modest Mouse stuff I’ve been missing. Bought my first turntable here, and the lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, since it was my first turntable and introduction to collecting vinyl. Overall pretty cool place

Sound Revolution isn't just a store for vinyl, skate hardware, and other cool stuff. It is part of Houston's culture. It is a landmark to those of use that grew up here.

Every rebelious Gen Xer on this side of town grew up with this place as the go to for the thinks you need and can't get anywhere else.

Sure today there are others like them but none can compete. If there is anything I need and they have it. I won't buy it anywhere else.

As far as storefronts in Houston. Sound Rev will always be the closest to my heart. 🤟😜

Great place to buy vinyl records, CDs, smoking accessories, and other decorative items. Staff members are always helpful and they have plenty of parking out front.

I LOVE Sound Revolution!!! And I'm so glad they have a 249 location since we moved from Spring to Katy. I've been going to the original 1960 location for over 20 years and their service, prices , and selection can't be beat!

Owners were chill and the CD collection was pretty sick. Came here with my gf and ended up buying 4 cds

Was looking for a certain poster for some which they did not have, but scored a classic Van Halen Group pic and got it. The guy suggested if I like Van Halen that I should look at the Eddie Van Halen one(these were the smaller posters) and decided since another friends bday was coming up to get that for him. Got to th3 counter the guy and girl said that getting 3 I'd save around $5 total, so I looked around. My son loved Mac Miller and they had one and got that. When I got home my son came in and I showed him the Mac Miller thi g for him and he was so happy. He had been looking for this specific one! Made his day.

Great products, great service! Harris is now my go to guy for music recommendations. Got a record here that’s thought to have been out of circulation for years!
