High Grove (Grocery) Store

Love this place. The owner and staff are sooo nice and they have amazing service. Their food is awesome deepfried stuff, it's like being at home. They have a big menu. Every drink you could ever want. The antique store right by it is also excellent!

Great lil County store, everyone is kind & friendly, great place to stop and get want you need quick & easy and some good cooking have a great lil menu eat in or take out!

Super friendly folks. Old style General Store. They have a deli-resturant that is fabulous. Wonderful sandwiches of all kinds & a daily plate lunch. They also have a great breakfast menu.

Great Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich was great. Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy also really good. Don’t pass it up. Owner sent us home with a sample of chilly also very good.

Awesome selection of all kinds of things. The staff is super friendly and I ended up coming back for lunch which was made to order, hot and so good. I love the atmosphere. Definitely recommend you stop by and check them out. They even sell plants!

Fabulous small grocery and diner. Hey they have coke in glass bottles, two sizes!! And yummy fried bites and I'm going to try their breakfast one day. Charming.

This little place is a gem. Food is great, prices are reasonable and the place is clean. Staff is friendly and extremely accommodating the Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich is amazing and plentiful. Our first visit: Geocaching brought us to this location and we stayed for lunch. Loved it so much brought my mother. She too was pleased.

This Grocery stores owner is Awesome!!! We was on a charity bike run and this was our 1st stop. The owner handed out bottles of water and fries. We will return soon to try out the food . Was a little crowded that day since we had 147 bikes with us. Thank you for your kindness Sir.

Very nice to find something open on a Sunday and serving breakfast afternoon. Neat little spot. Breakfast sandwich was good.

I rarely/never give five stars but this little place is awesome. I have ridden by this place on motorcycles many times, but today was the first time I stopped in. I was not disappointed. Ordered a salad. It was a culinary masterpiece, fresh, tasted great and great value for my money. The owner himself brought it outside to me on the gazebo. So if you're out for a ride or drive along old Bardstown Road, High Grove is a place you must stop into.

If you are looking for a old time country store, this is it. The owner keeps it looking like it was frozen in time from the 60's. It has the best service from the time you enter the store till you leave. The owner and his staff are super friendly. If you are looking for a quick sandwich or burger stop on by as their food is great. You definitely won't leave hungry.

Incredible place and people. I stumbled upon this place one weekend while out doing some shooting. The owners are wonderful people. They represent the American dream. The people in the area are great people. The staff and food are out of this world.

To be completely transparent, the place just lifts my spirits. We are blessed to have such a place so close to the Louisville Metro area. The places feels a hundreds miles away. Yes, I do go there sometimes just eat and get away from the Metro area.

I love this place. I live near and this is my local store. Through the years I have seen many owners, but the current owner really makes the place. He's a wonderful person and very involved with the community. The seasonal decorations, country feel and great food earns my five stars!

Great people work here and the owner and everyone are awesome! Decent food, most is homemade and delicious. A little bit of everything for sale inside. And they also have Ski soft drinks now.

Tried the bbq chicken - fabulous! Tender and a sizeable piece. We also had the garbage fries - they too were tasty and more than enough to share. Thank you for a great lunch stop.
