Publix Super Market at Terra Crossing

I’m going to be honest I have a sentimental value to Publix. My family and I lived in Florida for a few months when I was a kid and so we were at Publix all the time. It was just always such a great shopping experience with great produce, great baked goods, and great subs. Publix was the place to go. Most of my life, I have lived in Kentucky which means that we never had a Publix until now. Kentucky got his first Publix in January 2024. I’ve never been so excited for a grocery store to open. I waited a few weeks for them to get their bearings before I actually visited. It was a magical experience. It may be the first time I’ve seen a Publix, offering Kentucky Derby glasses, and hats actually. I was welcomed into the store by flowers and the sale items which offer some fantastic buy one get one free options. They’ve expanded out their food options to include subs, pizza, Tex-Mex, sushi, and the bakery is constantly making fresh bread, cupcakes, cookies, and other items. The aisles are all very well stocked. There’s even a seafood section. I found a variety of items that I haven’t seen in years. The Publix brand options were also excellent options when it came to ice cream. I also appreciated that they had a café inside where you can get coffee or even beers it was really an excellent experience for shopping.

So busy, I love that Publix came to the area. I used to shop a Publix all the time. This one has things I've never seen before and unfortunately the bakery seem really small. The cookies were very disappointing and rock hard. The Philly cheese steak is now cooked in a microwave and not on a grill. I hope more open up closer so we can do our normal shopping.

Best grocery store in Louisville by far. Only problem is the store does not have sufficient parking. I had to drive around looking for parking spot. Huge selection. Love the deli, salad bar, popcorn stand, taco bar, and pizza stand.

Love Publix and grateful they finally made it to Kentucky! The store is clean and well lit. When you walk in, the store smells amazing... the new popcorn 🍿 bar!!

I have been in many Publix stores and this one is Bougie!! Hot bar, hot food, salad bar, pizza station, olive station... and, of course, fried chicken!

The store is absolutely beautiful! Well lit, very nicely laid out! It was difficult to get to the deli to check it out as it was MOBBED with people lined up to get deli meats or their famous deli sandwiches. Everything was so well stocked. Staff was friendly and asked if we needed help out to our car even though we only bought one thing. That's rare to get asked that around here. Speaking of what we bought....don't pass up the New York style cheesecake with whole strawberries and strawberry glaze. Was covered in sliced almonds. Was so, so good!

Love Publix! Customer service is a priority for this store. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The store is clean, has plenty of options no matter what you are looking for, has several BOGO items, has a liquor store attached and also allows sip & shop. Fun, enjoyable shopping experience!

Bring a transplant from Florida, one of the things I miss the most is Publix. There are 4 choices of fresh baked signature sub rolls. You can get a whole or a half size. Get the whole size! They will make any combination of meats you want. Publix had Boars Head meats for their submarine sandwiches. I am so ecstatic about a Public coming to Kentucky. Salad bars, olive bar, popcorn stand, coffee shop, and many baked goods and premade meals. The quality is superb. Its gotta be good, I drove 190 miles to get 2 Publix Subs. Jerk turkey and Italian. It was so worth it.

Extremely friendly staff, the store is very clean and organized. Tons of options for shopping. The store has fresh sushi and ramen, a Tex mex bar, hot pizza, and even cold beer you can enjoy as you shop. There is a coffee shop and even more! Kroger and Walmart have nothing on the Publix coming to town. Pubsub was great and was nice to enjoy it in their seating area upstairs. Can’t wait for more to come to Louisville!

Having recently relocated from Georgia, we are happy Publix is expanding into Kentucky! Service is always great and quality is consistent in meat and produce departments. The first store in Kentucky opened today and it contains an expanded deli plus coffee, tea, protein drinks and microbrews!

It was worth the wait to get a Publix in Louisville. If you're trying to get a sub opening week, expect a wait. Luckily for me, I just needed my usual groceries. I found everything I needed, plus more. I love the additional amenities at this Publix. Anyway, this Florida lady is satisfied, expectations exceeded. #clubPublix

Our first visit at this new location! We love going to Publix when visiting Florida! Service was great and found what we needed. It was crowded for this time of day,but expected being they are newly opened. We will return in the future for our pizza dough,wings, and subs :)

I have missed shopping at Publix since moving here from Florida over 2 years ago. It felt so wonderful walking inside this new store. Everything was so fresh and clean. The employees even had the same friendly, helpful depositions that I had become used to! I love this place! Soon, I will have a Publix even closer to home. I can hardly wait!❤

I love Publix. I have always shopped at Publix when in Florida, and I'm thrilled they are now in Louisville, close enough for me to go there at least occasionally to shop.

Out of all the groceries I love Publix the most, their Deli, this location have a place to eat as well.

Oh my gosh! This Publix took me back to my hometown, Miami. I miss it so much. I am happy they opened a store in Kentucky. Hopefully, they will expand further. As always, they are professional, clean, and offer the best deals on food. Their fresh meat and deli are exceptional. The fruits are always fresh and the taste is unbeatable. Always fresh meat at best deals, I love to have plenty of organic options cause I’m a big fan of eating clean non-GMO food. The atmosphere is great and the employees seem happy and helpful. I would recommend Publix over any other grocery store. It's my go-to and I will always be loyal to them. I hope they open a store in Louisville because right now it's quite a drive to buy groceries, but I am willing to make the sacrifice.

Pros - The sheer variety of food is impressive. The only place I've seen fresh Cuban bread east of Bardstown Road. Bakery cake is very good. I ordered a ganache cake recently for a party and it was fantastic! The store is very clean and well staffed.

Cons - Prices are higher...on everything... produce, meat, bread, coffee...the " specials" are not lower than Kroger. The meat department is surprisingly small. An employee told me that all the cut meat and chicken is packaged in the store. If you want seasonal non-grocery items this is not the place. You won't find big displays of baby toys, Derby shirts, coolers and patio furniture. (This may be a pro)

As a national real estate investor I do a lot of traveling. I can say I am a part time resident of Florida mainly when it's cold here. Publix is one of the best grocery stores I have shop at and was happy that one was coming to Louisville. Fresh seafood, fruit and their subs are awesome. I can't wait till they build more here for others to try. I live 3 mins away so it's a easy drive for me. Kroger isn't going to stand much of a chance once they open more here. Better quality, service and selection. Definitely will be shopping here when I am home. If you a morning person go early is the best way to avoid lines. I get in and out quickly in the morning.

I specifically visited Publix for their sub sandwiches, but this time, I shopped for a few groceries. I relocated here from Georgia, and Publix was less than a mile from my home, so I shopped there quite often. The store is always clean, the food is fresh, and the employees are friendly. Welcome to Louisville, Kentucky.

Yeehaw. I've been wanting to try this place since I heard it existed in California. Nice to see that the Midwest is finally catching on. I was on my way from Chicago and I have a lot of dietary restrictions and couldn't find anywhere that I could stop. This place at least had gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian items which is nice because I have allergies but not by choice. That being said, they had really good food to go and the buffets fire your. A little bit on the pricey side but you're paying for quality, not quantity and I think everyone sometimes just needs to understand that
