La Chaparrita Meat Market

A huge shout out to this small, local grocery/meat market/restaurant. If you REAL Mexican spices and meat and hot food, this place is where you go. Family owned, everyone is friendly and knows their stuff! We brought home two lbs of their seasoned pastor along with a whole lot else. I will definitely be coming back 😊 They even offered to try to gets things in for me if they didn’t have it. P.S. The in house fresh made salsa is divine!

We like going in here and getting breakfast or lunch tacos. Plus they have great coffee. It's a nice grocery store as well.

The absolute best marinated steak I’ve ever had. I’ve been back 3 times this week for cause it’s so delicious I will definitely be back for more. If your ever find this place you have to try their marinated steak. Go home grill it up and thank me later.

A quaint little market with plenty of stock as far as canned goods, and even some produce and dairy.
Also have pastries, fresh salsas, and tamales.

Haven't tried the actual meat market counter, but the Taqueria (restaurant) in here is fantastic!

What an Amazing market! Been here many times for Mexican ingredients, snacks, and practically everything they sell from their kitchen! They have the Largest flour tortillas in TX. if you need guac, the kitchen will make it FRESH right in front of you. Above all, LOVE their marinated Al Pastor from the Carneceria, it is a must-have. I’ve been there early, late, during dinner rush, and It’s always clean and neat. you can tell the people take pride in there work, always smiling, and very friendly service. Now for the restaurant portion, I’ve only had the breakfast but it was SO delicious, everything taste fresh and cooked with love. The tacos are my favorite, particularly the chorizo egg and cheese. Honestly this place does everything right and they’ve got a loyal customer for as long as their around.

Lucked upon this place while trying to find food last week and discovered a gold mine! Very good quality and clean meat, neatly stocked shelves and friendly workers makes this place a must visit. While I ran around to various large grocery chains, this one was 5 minutes from my door and along with the large selection of meat had fresh produce, toilet paper, paper towels, canned goods, drinks as well as a hot food area to order food. Don't underestimate this place, give them a try and they will have your business moving forward.

Best ever breakfast tacos. Other grocery items pricey. Pork skins 9.00. whoa. But every thing quality, and tastie. Can't wait to go back. Very kind and patient with this no Spanish speaking light skinned lady.ty!

So, So good!!! Ordered the 1lb of barbacoa - so delicious, homemade tortillas, onions and cilantro were super fresh. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been shopping at La Chaparrita for years now. The butcher shop always delivers great quality meats. The carnitas by the pound are delicious! The kitchen makes a spicy revoltillo gordita that cures any hangover! Overall La Chaparrita is go to for a gallon of milk or tacos or steaks. Great customer service with a smile. Ask for Olivia time you visit and say Hi you’ll find her in the kitchen!

La Chaparrita is amazing. Very authentic, awesome menudo, and they have always delivered when I come in with a huge breakfast taco order. The folks working there are extremely professional and service oriented. We love La Chaparrita!

It also has a great menu with plenty of other delishious mexican items. The people are friendly and food is fantastic. What more can you want? Everyone I take always wants to come back

Fantastic Meat Market and Store. They carry all the authentic ingredients of Mexico. To me, it was like going back in time when I was growing up and going shopping in Ciudad Acuna.
