We catered Pinnon's for our wedding September 2023 and it was a hit with every person! Katie was a wonderful to work with and was accommodating with suggestions to help with guests with certain dietary restrictions. The next day after the wedding, guests were asking about Pinnon's and some even drove an extra 30 minutes to get more food to bring back to Chicago! The steaks were huge (picture from day of wedding), the sun dried tomato chicken was moist and the stuffed mushrooms are to die for! Even for those who don't like mushrooms, they must try it! Our guests enjoyed our sides of cheesy potatoes, green beans with almonds, baked beans and an Italian salad. Although we are an hour and a half away from the butcher, it is definitely worth the drive and they're pre-made selection of frozen meals are wonderful! A definite must stop when you are in the Rockford area.

We used Pinnon's catering for our recent baby shower and Katie was phenomenal. Friendly, professional and she even loaned us a hot box and chafing dishes/sternos to serve the food, which was SO very appreciated. We received lots of compliments on the delicious food and enjoyed it ourselves. Even when I called a few days before the event when we received some late RSVPs, Katie wasn't annoyed with me when I ended up just needing to talk about numbers on the phone and not changing my order, and I appreciated her kindness and understanding very much. Thank you!!!

My husband and I had pinnons cater our wedding & everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the servers were great! So many guests asked who made the food! I highly recommend them!

If you are looking for delicious cookies, this is the place! They are extremely friendly, and the cookies are the best I’ve had in Rockford!!! They are worth every penny 😁❤👍

The vibe is so upbeat when I go into pinnon's and the employees and the bosses are super friendly. I have been going to this store since the early 80's and the vibe has always remained upbeat. The meat is fresh and the frozen items cook exactly how the label tells you to cook it and it also tastes delicious 😋!

Pinnons is a great little neighborhood store. They have most everything you might need in a pinch so you don't have to run to a bigger more congested store. My dog loves the natural bones they make there. The folks that work the meat counter are always so happy to help you, no matter how big or small your order, and the folks at the check out are equally happy to help. Wish there was a little store like this in every neighborhood. It would make life so much more easy.

They have good quality meat and their Mac and Cheese is amazing. Love the chocolate chip cookies, and I always get the beef bones for my pitty who loves them!!! Best place to buy your meat and the prices are reasonable compared to the grocery stores.

Fast & friendly service. Great looking cuts of meat, awesome 🦞, unique as well. Desserts & sides are homemade and look delicious. Highly recommend Pinnon's Butcher shop. I could easily spend an hour in their just looking at all the different stuff they have. Forgot to mention great prices too.

My husband and I got married at Storybook Gardens Rochelle, and we decided to go with Pinnon's for our caterer. I cannot say enough about how phenomenally delicious the food was! Everyone kept saying how delicious the NY strip steaks were. Another big hit was the mac and cheese, a must if you order catering! Baked chicken, pork chops, just incredible. My family and I were fighting over the mac and cheese left overs the morning after our wedding (ha-ha!). Thank you Pinnon's!

Definitely worth the drive across town to pick up whatever meats you are looking for. Very nice and clean, although it's easy to get a bit crowded (it's popular and you can see the whole interior from the entrance).

During busier days, parking can be a bit of a challenge (nearly all on-street); we have to remember that this is how stores were a couple of generations ago...

Best meat market in the Greater Rockford Area! Always great prices, great specials, and get the cheesy potatoes! Huge rock lobster tails and king crab legs! Plenty of excellent side dishes to make a great family meal at great prices!
