The Game Store

I absolutely love this place! The manager is super kind and knowledgeable on anything in the store. He's also built a great team of helpful people. We love coming here for our pokemon cards!

The owner is a very friendly and sincere guy. Really enjoyed my visit there. HUGE selection of games and Warhammer. Excellent store.

The Game Store is such a wonderful game store. It has a comfortable atmosphere and the selection of games is truly astonishing! It has a large area for playing games, and any event that I've gone to has been a fun time. If you're in Warrenton and enjoy tabletop and trading card games, I would highly recommend stopping by!

Great selection and the owner is genuinely a excited to discuss tabletop games. It was refreshing to see someone trying to get others into hobby rather than gatekeeping.

For those of you anywhere near Warrenton, VA, with young children or grandchildren, there's a game store with loads of tables AND a welcoming children's play area AND super clean bathrooms with changing tables. First visit yesterday - impressed me and my wife.

Excellent staff and if you need anything for D&D, Warhammer 40k, or some other roleplaying or card based game they can probably help you. Plus they are a great location for meet ups and playing in-store.

Went here looking for a specific pokemon product and while unfortunately I didn't find it the store is amazing! The atmosphere is phenomenal and they're board game selection was massive! They're pokemon selection wasn't the best though unless you are looking for the most recent sets. They had only the newest product and no singles. I do really appreciate the fact that they also have tables and board games that are free to play. They also have different game nights that I look forward to checking out

What an amazing hidden gem of a game store. I try to visit game stores anytime I'm near one. This one takes the cake. Beautiful and organized. Nicely lit and cozy play area. The owner was pleasant to soak with. Hopefully I'll get to return to spend some coin and play a game or two.

So glad to have such a great, local game store in our community. The Game Store has a great table top selection with a ton of offerings from 40K to Star Wars Legion and more. The have a stellar paint collection as well. They also hold regular game nights to bring the community together. A gem for sure!

Always a good selection of 40k and Battletech and excellent paint and hobby tools selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Havent had a chance to play any games at the store yet, but they have a nice setup of tables.

Amazing energy, I went here all the time before the pandemic. My friends and I were able to stay for hours to play D&D, without issue. Good variety of tabletop accessories and games, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Hands down my favourite store in Warrenton, for the aesthetic, the kindness, and how much variety there is. I don’t generally make reviews of things, but I genuinely thought I should make one for the game store with how often I’m there, and how many people I recommend the place to.

Really cool store. Prices aren't bad. Great play area for all tabletop games. Friendly staff.

Constantly improving the selection, warm, friendly staff, and a great, welcome atmosphere for newcomers and veterans alike.

Update 11/27/23: expanded retail area, but collapsed a couple of long tables that were in sparse use anyway. The shelves on the tabletop wargames side are still bare, but the growth is great to see.

Edit: the empty shelves are for wargamers to store they're things while they play! Thanks to the Game Store staff for being responsive and helpful as always 😁

Very family friendly. Courteous staff. There is a child play area and the bathrooms are very clean. Good selection of European/indie games (for kids and adults) as well as a demo area. I'm not a table top gamer, but hope to get my kids interested in social, 'offline' gaming when they get older. In the near term I hope we can attend some of their trivia nights!

I've been to about 6 different game stores within an hour to two hours from Warrenton, and in comparison, this one tops them all. Not only is the staff friendly and inviting, but they also get to know you. They learn your name not to make a sale, but to make a friend.

The scene is lively, and the tavern music keeps things upbeat. A nice open feel, and awesome design make you feel both in the past and present at once.

As for the community, it's nice to see familiar faces, and even unfamiliar ones greeting familiar ones. Everyone is joyous and friendly. I saw plenty of competitive spirit, but all in the name of fun. Not a single angry person that I saw. Even people who weren't winning were still smiling and laughing.

With such a fantastic vibe, the place just reeks of fun and entertainment. It's a place I feel I can go to, sit in the corner, not play any games, and still have fun. I would drive an hour to play here. The fact that it's in my hometown is just a magnificent and glorious bonus.

The Game Store is my go to Warhammer supply shop. I love how into the products the staff are. It makes a huge difference seeing them get as excited as the guests who shop there about what they sell. Often you can find them having conversations about Warhammer or Magic the Gathering, even playing a few games there. I can always find something to buy there, and they're more than willing to order products for me that they don't have in store. The atmosphere is spot on, making it enjoyable to visit and play a couple quick games.

Amazing atmosphere, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The private RPG room is amazing, not only does it give you a little bit of seclusion, but it let's the Game Master really control the mood of your campaign. Great place!

This place ia pretty cool. I went in and talked with a colorfully hair xyed individual who was pleasant and informative. They also rent out private rooms for tabletop play at VERY reasonable pricing. There's alot of tabletop paraphernalia here including merch from pokemon, magic, warhammer 40k, and many other franchises I'm not personally familiar. Its small and homey as well. Good place!
