They have everything. Fresh bread, pastries, fruits, vegetables and their meat selection is amazing. Friendly people, great vibe and atmosphere for grocery shopping. Lots of latin themed options.

I always find a better selection and price on produce, meat, and fresh baked goods here than any other grocery chain.

Their tortillas they make are bomb. They carry the brand Sarita (rice) is my favorite. It's hard to find , they have it and multiple sizes. There's so many amazing selections in sauces seasonings and evertthing you could think of here. They have tacos and ice cream out front as well. All their food is DELICIOUS , you must try , you will not be disappointed.

OMG. I've never been to a Hispanic grocery store. Decided I'd go with the wife as she wanted to make Pozole.

This place is amazing! It's super crowded and tight spaces but wow. They have so many cool things (I don't even know what most of them are). I had a blast just walking through and looking at everything.

Great meat counter, good prices, TONS of Hispanic candies and sweets.

Excellent selection of Hispanic as well as general American groceries. It's small and tight, which is a little disconcerting during COVID, but as long as all shoppers are responsible, it works. Excellent produce, meat and bakery selections. Especially considering how small it is! They are doing a good job of managing safety amidst the pandemic. They have ample parking in their lot, including accessible parking and entrance.

My family loves El Mercado Fresco. Every time we come visit my extended family in Argentine we stop by and get some groceries. They have lots of mexican products other stores do not carry where we live in Gladstone, Missouri. Great selection of mexican products and more. 💓

The location on Metropolitan Ave always has amazing meat deals!!! In the times of recession and inflation, it’s your best bet to start learning how to cook if you don’t already know how to. I buy 2 weeks worth of meat at an average of $50 here. This is cooking at least 5 days out of the week.
Lots of other good grocery deals as well.
3 months ago I got almost a 5 gallon jug of fabric softener for $9.
It’s usually about that much for a 1 gallon jug at Walmart.
It’s a nice little gem of a grocery store…
If you are English speaking and are reading my review and want to go buy meat, they refer to a “Pound” as “Libra”
You will NOT find this on Google translate… thank me later 🤣🤣
So if you need 3lbs of meat = Tres Libras
And just point to the meat… they know me now and someone was kind enough to teach me this. The guys in the butcher/meat area generally won’t or doesn’t know how to speak English.

I love supporting my local businesses! I never shop at big industrial businesses like Walmart or Target, etc. But instead small local business like these. They sell more than just hispanic or mexican oriented products. But african foods and cultural foods and spices too. Unlike walmart or any other big industrial grocery stores, this store treats you with respect. I always am treated with kind and warm hearted people and when i brought my little sister here; this one man who worked there gave her money for this toy dispenser. People are so nice! Unlike other big grocery stores. Also, they’re sooo AFFORDABLE! I walked in there with $10 or $20 and walk out with a whole MEAL or lots of fruits for the price. I never am going anywhere else but small, family oriented businesses. Thank you ☺

I love coming to this Market ! The meat is so fresh and not to mention so much cheaper than at Walmart or SunFresh.

Always busy but best place for bottled water

I have two daughters who work there and they say nothing but great things about there bosses and Co workers .

Friendly staff, good food and good deals. I love these stores. I moved to the opposite side of the city and still drive up there to shop.

Their home made tamales make it worth the trip there and they have Mexican food items you won't find anywhere else in Kansas City.

This grocery store is a really nice place to go. I am an English speaking person and do fine. They have great vegetables and different sales on different meats which is very nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

This olace is really clean and smells good, all their food I've tried is really good from breakfast to lunch. They have some really good drinks there that you won't find at other places. Never disappointed when I go there! I go there at least 2 times a week.
