This review is for our cashier Debbie she was so sweet and helpful. Puts a smile on your face. Employees like Debbie is what makes me want to come back. She was knowledgeable about the merchandise and deals helped us save money. Just made an all around great experience. Why can't more cashiers be like her. The people who work there are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's not perfect, no place is, but they're great at troubleshooting. Great selection of items, and sales are pretty regular and last a while. Ordering online to ship or for curbside pickup is also super convenient.

Wow!!!! They had so many 75, 40, 25, just all over the place percentages off! I was able to get some really great candles and one other crafts that were awesome! They seem to always have really good sales that go on until things are gone!

09/03/23 stopped as they have the best selection of upholstery foam. Cedar helped me find what I needed and in foam and some fabric for our '56 I'm restoring. Must not had gotten a pic of all the new foam and batting on the frame before sewing the covers. He even gave me a tip for the 40% coupon. A+ Customer service (and selection).

Been working on a few home DIY projects and needed some synthetic leather fabric and foam for large ottoman table I am making from an old table. I was able to get all that I needed on a budget, even decor tacks and staples for gun.

This store has the best staff, who are friendly, helpful and efficient. I get many of my needed items from them.

They have everything from fabric, art supplies, hobby and specialized craft kits, tools, boards, and canvases....honestly feels like craft heaven! I love the variety and I was probably longer in there than I'd planned. The store is huge:)

The only slight pain point is the cutting table. It gets a bit busy and many times just one cutter and a long line of people.
If they manage that better, they'd be one of the best stores all around.

I walked all over the store looking for the new Diamond Dots until I decided to ask the associate at the register. She was very kind and directed me to exactly the right isle! I was able to look at and get exactly what I needed!

Great place to get all your needs for arts and crafts also any sewing necessities.

I visited after several years and was overwhelmed with how much they have to offer! I was able to get everything I needed to make this doll and more!

Recently I ordered some cake baking/ decorating supplies online (baking pans, fondant, fondant smoothing tool, cake boards) and sent my husband to pick them up so I could make my daughter an impressive birthday cake. (I spent a week watching tutorials about fondant) I think I accomplished my mission! Thanks JoAnn!

Crafts persons dream I love this store. I need orange marbles for my centerpiece found them and this fall wreath.

SEWING and CRAFTING SPLENDER! Staff is great and sale, coupons and selections are fabulous. Plus I got everything I needed to make the greatest fairy Garden ever here.

It's a Joann store, so if you've been to one before, this one is no different. Could probably use a bit more staffing up front at the registers but great customer service from everyone we dealt with. Well stocked!

Lots of selection for crafting items. Vast array of merchandise. Very knowledgeable staff. Very organized layout of store. Very clean and maintained store. Item I was in search of was plentiful in stock , while other places I searched were unavailable. Will definitely coming back for my hard to find items.

A great selection of items, priced fair, alot of room in the store to shop and still social distance.

The clerks were all so friendly. I was having a not do great day and by the time I left the store I was smiling from ear to ear. Good customer service makes all the difference!

Friendly employee cashier very nice and helpful. My grandson was purchasing a CHRISTMAS GIFT for his mother and the cashier was very nice to him and listened to his desire to have the present put into the gift box. He's autistic and alot of people don't understand that.

I always find exactly what I need there bit there were only 3 cashiers working and the line was very long. I waited in line almost 45 minutes to check out. Too long for me. I almost put my items back and left. But the store itself is great.

One of my "happy places". The Independence store is easily my favorite in the KC area, and I can always find something I need. I highly recommend adding the Joann app - great coupons, always, and the cashiers know how to process them unlike some other stores. Everything you need to be creative. Even at extremely busy times (you seriously wouldn't believe the Black Friday crowds over the years....) I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this particular store.

JoAnns is DOG FRIENDLY so they get an automatic 5 stars from me. Their selection on other things besides fabrics and sewing needs is kinda small, but they are primarily known for sewing so I can’t be mad about that. The store is clean and organized. The staff are all friendly so it’s a nice place to shop.

Had a Girl Scout Cookies booth this past Sunday out front of the store. I was amazed how many people said this was the very best JOANN'S far and wide. The people were friendly and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to host a booth in front of their store. What better business to support young girls in their business adventures.
