I want to tell you. One of the cheapest Bazaar (market) in Republic of Karakalpakstan.

I am local guide from Republic of Karakalpakstan. The Republic of Karakalpakstan - a sovereign republic within Uzbekistan. Karakalpakstan is located on the border of Turan lowland. From the south-west it closely adjoins to Kara-Kum desert. In the north-west there is Usturt plateau, and in the north-east – Kyzyl-Kum desert. The territory of Karakalpakstan also includes the southern half of the Aral Sea, on the dried bottom of which now forming a new salt desert Aral-Kum and the lower reaches of the Amu Darya river.

Khodjely is one of regions of Karakalpakstan . I inform about Khodjeli. You can see also modern and ancient side of Khodjely. Khodjely is one of the oldest, ancient city in Central Asia. Archaeological excavations have revealed that settlement of the city dates back to the Neolithic period, i.e. IV-III centuries BC. In medieval history, the city was known as Mizdakhkan. The locals also called it Gyaur city, Antakya, Shamun or Nazlimkhan Sulu. The remains of the fort (Gyaur kala), surrounded by two rows of thick cotton walls, are located on the western hill of the city. Travelers and traders from China, India, Iran, Syria, the Volga region and the Black Sea region stopped here. The Great Silk Road runs through the center of the city.
