Hotel Otkirbek

Cheap and comfortable hotel. It lacks in atmosphere compared to Rumi but is closer to the square, still quiet and efficiently run.

На завтрак накормят, что и где в Самарканде нужно-расскажут. В отеле останавливаются люди со всего мира, поэтому есть шанс попрактиковать в иностранных языках.

A mixture of feelings; first of all it was possible to check in early in the morning which helped us a lot. Secondly the location is great, 100m to city centre. The price is also reasonable and good value. Further the owner got up at 4 am for us to call a taxi.

Nevertheless there were some negatives as well. The wifi signal is super bad, we had basically no wifi in our room. Further there was no soap, toilette paper and no towels. Maybe because of the early check-in?

Breakfast was good.

設備はけっこうきれいなうえ、アクセスもよく快適に過ごせました。
朝御飯もついていて、英語も通じます。目の前の通りは夜間暗くて怪しげですが、ラビハウスあたり含めそこそこ人は多いと思います。ラビハウス周辺で流れている大きめの音楽はたしか気にならなかったです

Уютное место. Номера приличные. Вода слабый напор, с трудом удалось искупаться. Утром завтрак входит в стоимость. Для иностранных граждан цена больше, чем для жителей Узбекистана.

Плохое обслуживание. Постоянно нужно что-то просить у персонала. Когда въехали, в санузле не было ни туалетной бумаги, ни шампуня с мылом, которые обязательно должны быть. Стойкий запах канализации. Нет горячей воды. Рядом с унитазом стояли чьи-то тапки. На одну ночь максимум.
Завтрак маленький.

Из плюсов-месторасположение, до исторических памятников очень близко

Absolutely dishonest staff/owner, we booked a pricy shared taxi to Samarkand and were told it would be a nice car with air conditioning. We paid almost $10 each to make sure it was the case due to one of us having health problems (with sinuses) We were asked to pay half in advance. The morning we were supposed to go we were asked to pay for an additional taxi that would take at to the taxi rank north of the city. We disagreed so they took as there and put as in a first taxi available which was VERY old cab even for Uzbek standards, of course no A/C. We had to argue with the driver not to drop as at the bus station in Samarkand and take as to the hotel even though previously it was agreed with the hotel staff/owner. Stay away from this place!
