Ardenica Restaurant & Wine

Stopped at this place for coffee and dessert and were impressed by both the service and the view! The terrace is like a natural balcony overlooking the valley. The coconut bakllava was to die for, fresh and original.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The view is insane and the rooms are nicely decorated. Tane(tanie) is very nice and will help you out with everything. The food is amazing and the wine as well. If you are dutch I will say this: the cheese is amazing! Go and try it! Thank you for the good time!

The best hotel we visited in Albania. First, it is located on a Beautiful location with an amazing view, the staff is very friendly, great rooms and our highlight was their breakfast. Ps: great to combine with the Albanica wine restaurant (500 meters away).

I visited as part of a larger tour group. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. This restaurant is beautiful inside and had a wonderful view overlooking the area.

Really good restaurant. Actually one of the best restaurants I have been to in Albania. Amazing local Albanian food. Staff is very friendly. Prices are well worth the food. Portions are big. Ingredients are fresh. The view from the terrace over the valley is amazing day and night. They also have hotel rooms which are very nice. Absolutely worth a visit.

Great hotel.
The rooms are new, probably opened few months ago.
The staf is profesional and always helpful.
But they should give the option of paying by card. I hope the management can fix this till next visit.

Everything was excellent.
We stayed one night in our camper in front of the restaurant. Electricity, toilet, a shower, nice view was included in our stay.

The food was amazing. We ate three starters and main courses, wine and coffee and got complimentary deserts at 21€. In the morning we got very good breakfast and good recommendations for our stay in Albania. Would definitely come back again.

We stayed in the hotel which opened 5 months ago and has been completed to a high specification. Dining at the restaurant with its spectacular views was an obvious choice. The waiter who served us spoke reasonable English and the manager who I spoke with later, had lived in England for 5 years.
The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the prices are very reasonable.
We have found some excellent restaurants in Albania. The Ardenica is up with the best of them.

Absolute magical location with its view from the top of the mountain, amazing hospitality from the family, and staff exceptional English speaking! The beautiful rooms are new and all comfort thought of. Has a winery and monastery next door too. Highly recommended!!

Awesome place. The service (especially the waiter with a British English accent) was amazing. The mentioned guy explained/translated us the complete menu as it was only in Albanian.

The food was delicious (only the "Russian salad" was not really good. It was a bunch of mayonnaise). We even received a starter and a small dessert on the house.

The prices are great. The view is wonderful.

What a wonderful place, wonderful tasty food and a service that makes you feel like a VIP. Thank you Ardenica restaurant. Prices are also very cheap. Also the best spot to dine after a visit in the monastry. A must go if you are travelling between Tirana and Vlora or the cities in between.

We stayed in this place very unplanned...but ended up being a super nice experience...awesome place clean and new rooms and with some fresh local and nice food!

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Food was so good - we went eating there twice in a row. Would recommend to everyone who’s looking for Albanian kitchen and a heartwarming experience!

We had a delicious authentic dinner for prices as we know them from real Albania and even dessert on the house. The Terrace of the restaurant offers a nice view over the valley. Well maintained garden and european style toilets. We could even stay over night with our campervan on the spacious and straight parking lot, although we decited to leave for a quiter place. Very friendly staff, which speaks english with a british accent. We had a great time and would definately come back. 🤩

Great place with best view ever. Service was very professional and the food was awesome. We had frog legs and rice with young goose. The prices where also very affordable so I highly recommend. The drive to the top was nice with cool winding mountain roads. Close by is the monastery which is also a great place to visit

One of my favorites places to visit! I love the view, the food and the peace and memories this place gives me. The staff is very welcoming and everything is very clean. Keep up the good work!

Don’t normally do reviews but have gone out of my way here as the service and food was exceptional. Can’t recommend this place enough
