The Mussel House

I was on a trip with 8 more girls and we went to the restaurant.
The staff is incredible, very helpful, polite and friendly.
The food is delicious, we tried different dishes including mussels, fish and seafood.
The view is marvelous. You can see how mussels are grown in the salty lake. Never seen this before. The water is beautifully green, the geese are cute.
We returned there for lunch the next day cause we enjoyed the food and the service.

Perfect atmosphere!! The most beautiful panorama near the lake! The food was super delicious. We loved it!! The staff was so kind and helpful that I was impressed. For me it is the best seafood restaurant in Ksamil! Everything is so perfect, I definitely recommend it!

This restaurant is amazing!! Cannot recommend it enough!
They were super accommodating with me and allowed me to pay online for my friends to go and enjoy a honeymoon dinner together, and spent days with me organising it to make sure it was perfect.
The team are really lovely!
They placed my friends on a table which is on a pier extended into the lake - gorgeous! The food looked amazing and my friends loved every single bit of it.

Good restaurant with fresh mussels and fish, I really liked my mussels in cream sauce, though I am not a big fan of mussels, this dish was top! Fish was also fresh and delicious! We tried some typical Albanian dessert - zupa! Nice service, everyone was friendly and made a lot of jokes, some waiters even spoke Ukrainian 🫶🏼 will definitely come back next year! Thanks! Tato ❤

Spectacular view with super delicious food! The atmosphere was perfect! The seafood linguine were so tasty and cooked in perfection and the mussels were the most delicious ones we did try in Ksamil. They were super fresh. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Such a delightful seafood experience. We had so much fun there!

Stunning nature, very chill atmosphere and nice service. Food was great, recommend to come for sure. There are wooden cabins on the territory as well - perfect quiet place with beautiful view.
P.S.: stuff was welcoming and friendly, found a charger for my phone and left a photo for the memories🤷

The place is so beautiful, the view was amazing!
The food was good and in comparison with other seafood places in Europe, it was indeed cheap.
We paid ~70€ for:
- 2 plates of mussels;
- 2 beers;
- 1 cola;
- 2 waters;
- crab croquettes;
- a plate of mix seafood;
- seafood linguine

The food seems to be fresh and fished in the same place.
Just the way to get there is a bit... steep for cars, make sure your car can handle it 😅

I was amazed by the stunning view and the very polite staff that was so attentive all the time. The lobster pasta was such a blast! It was so delicious and fresh you could taste it and it was cooked perfect.The mussels were just wow! I’ll definitely be back very soon and bring my friends with me as well! 10/10

We had a fantastic dinner at The Mussel House. Staff recommended a great Albanian wine that was perfect with our seafood. Great location, food and overall experience.

We went for dinner here and the food was great. A wide selection of seafood and everything we tried was delicious. Great atmosphere and lovely view, especially as the sun is setting. It’s a little bit pricey, but overall a really nice experience. Keep in mind it’s a steep drive down to the restaurant.

After a slightly steep, but manageable drive down to the water, we arrived at a beautifully located restaurant looking out over the lake. The mussels and grilled sea bass with vegetables we had were amazing. Well cooked, lovely seasoning and amazing grilled taste. The service was great and the waiter took great care to explain the daily menu of freshly caught fish and helped with filleting the fish.
The price of the food was slightly higher than the other meals we had in Albania, but most definitely worth it!

The food was delicious!! The seafood pasta was the best I ever had. I have to say that the staff was really good and I was impressed that they even gave us recommendations and were really welcoming. I really recommend it. (For the one waiter: Hiii sorry I can’t remember your name but you were really sweet and awesome)

The place looks very touristy, but we decided to go anyways. Beautiful location on the lagoon. You can see from your table where the mussels are harvested and then they land directly on your table. We had two ways of mussels with fries, and were blown away with the freshness of the molluscs. For other seafood options, I would say that the prices were rather high, but the mussels were very fairly priced.

I just have no words. Indescribable scenery, the food was more than tasty and the prices were quite affordable. The staff was very polite, friendly, attentive. It was all great. Well done!

We came here to eat in October and the food, service and scenery was outstanding. Can't wait to get some fresh seafood here again.

The owner was a great guy, he spelled few Turkish words even. Seafood was amazing, I would go again and again. The best mussel I have ever ate. Bruschetta is the one of the things you must try. Thank you for all and hope to meet one day again

Wow what a great experience. As a huge lover of seafood, I am not easily convinced when I try something new, especially near a tourist hub but they deserve the five stars. First for the location as you dine along the lake, second for the staff extremely nice and full of attention (thanks a lot Doni) and of course the food. The mussels are amazingly tasty, the fish soup very surprising and the fish dishes delicious. Thanks a lot

Some of the best mussels you can have anywhere. Absolutely stunning location (book for sunset). Very romantic and serene. Good place to escape from the hustle snd bustle of sarande and ksamil. Food arrived incredibly quickly but was of such high quality and well priced. A definite go to for date night!

The Mussel House is the best restaurant I have ever dined in. We were very lucky to find this place, welcomed in an exceptional way like no where else before. The food was the cherry on top, prepared with a passion using fresh and local ingredients. We had the privilage to be able to speak with the amazing people who run this business which was a real pleasure. Hospitality and quality at it's absolute best. I will definitely come back to The Mussel House as soon as I visit Albania again. Thank you again for everything that you have done for us.
