Berat Caravan Camping

Easily one of the nicest sites I stayed on my camping trip through Europe. Run by a super nice family, it is a perfect camping site: quiet, beautiful, authentic, with great home made local food from fresh ingredients. I felt very welcomed and relaxed here. An absolute gem

We were in town looking for a laundromat (which we didn't find), and this was a campground with wasmachine. We hoped for a dryer as well. She helped us out with wash racks that we could set up inside.
A nice cup of tea, a very hot shower and a quiet night. We did two washes and spend the night for only 3000ALL. Good deal!

One of the nicest campsites we've stayed in. A bit more expensive by Albanian standards but worth it, 3,100 for a family of 5. Would be 2,000 for 2 people plus camper. Lovely, clean toilet and shower area. Great play area with table tennis, darts, swings and hammocks. Lots of green grassy areas and shade. Looks like a lovely restaurant on site although we had food we needed to cook so didn't eat there. Welcome drinks on arrival. Couldn't fault the place. Very nice family running it. Just next to Cobo Winery which is fab for a wine tasting tour. Also great sulphur springs to visit a couple of km away. All in all, we loved it. 5 stars.

Fantastic camping!! Lots of shadow, and the facilities were super clean! The owner was super friendly and helped us with info, in very good English. We loved our stay en would definitely recommend this camping! It was quiet and has a good and relaxed atmosphere!

We arrived late February to a friendly greeting. The campsite was extremely pleasant and Donna, our host was wonderful. We enjoyed visiting the winery next door and Donna helped us to visit Berat. The facilities were great. We were sorry to leave.

Fantastic campground! Donna the owner is so
welcoming. Everything is extremely clean. Hot showers 24/7. We camped for Leke2000 for 2 people per night. Free welcome drink. Washing machines for use for leke300 per load. Restaurant serves drinks all day and homemade Albanian food from 6pm. Cobo winery is right next door. Berat is 13kms away.

A great little campsite on the outskirts of Berat.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Berat, we'd originally planned to stay at a site in the centre of town but it was fully booked. Berat Caravan Camping was definitely the better choice despite being out of town. The family that run it are very friendly and offer you a welcome drink on arrival. There are shaded pitches around the edge and each has power. All the facilities are spotlessly clean and there is a great little restaurant on site run by the family which serves great food at reasonable prices. You can get a bus into town for about Lek100 each but we shared a taxi with some other campers. If you have bikes with you, you could also cycle into town. Highly recommend this campsite.

Donna and her husband run a very nice small campground. They are great and friendly hosts and very helpful with Information how to get to the city center. Toilet/showers are clean, the food is great! Part of the pitches are shaded and you have some privacy due to plants in between the spots. Great atmosphere.

We stayed here for 4 days, got a really warm welcome. (With ice coffees for the adults and juice for the children) They owners are very friendly and will do anything for their guests. The space is a nice open field, with level pitches some pitches have shade covers for the summer months. The toilets and showers are simple, but clean and you can do washings for 500LEK. They also have a restaurant where you can eat a meal for a good price and get served with a smile. They also sell their own produce: olive oil, wine etc. There is a supermarket/butcher/bakery within 2.5km of the site.

Great Camping spot 15 mins away from Berat city centre. Open all year round. We paid 15 EUR per night, washing machines are available for 500 Lek per washing. Great welcoming atmosphere, restaurant in the same place. Some local stuff to buy. They have all travelling people may need :)

Beautiful campsite with great mountain views. Near the beautiful city of Berat. It is really clean and quiet place to stay. In the campsite is also a restaurant. There is a public pool which is very clean and winery across the small river. You can park in Berat, for free, see Berat and come back for the night. There is also a taxi that you can take for 1000leke/8euro to the top of Berat (Berat Castle). Owners are really kind and you can ask for some good places here. Its really worth to visit this campsite.

A great experience. We stayed for two nights. The campground is 13 km from Berat. We were welcomed by the son of the owner, a very polite young guy, who afterword served ice coffee for us. There is grass everywhere on the ground and it is well maintained. The toilet facilities are good, and there has been put a lot thinking in to make it very easy to camp there, fx plenty of hangers; separated sink for boot wash etc. Furthermore, they run there own restaurant, with fantastic food at a very fair price. It is a most try, if you stay at this campground.

One of the best camping sites in Albania.
Has all accomodations, everyone is very friendly and wonderful service.
They offer a deal which is: Register 3 children and add the 4th free of charge.
They offer ice coffee for adults and orange juice for children everyday.
I highly recommend this place if you're in the Berat area and are looking for a camping site.

This campsite is of high European standards, it has immaculate facilities for self catering. Showers and toilets are first class. Upon arrival we were met by professional hosts.
The area around is well decorated with typical Mediterranean flowers and nice outdoor tables.
Berat town is 12 km and Castle 10km from this typical Albanian countryside camper site.
To go to Berat you can make use of public transport or taxis that I used which are very cheap and can get you up to the castle. (castle is 2 km very steep uphill from the town center).
On my last day I drove to Berat and parked in the free car park (all day), owned by the local Council, located between the old and the cabled-stayed bridge, then returning to enjoy the evening on the quiet.
Highly recommended ...... this is the place to be.

This is the best camp in Albania which we have visited till this time. Very clean and calm, good services, the owners so friendly and kind. The prices are fair. We can absolutely recommend! Excellent!

We stayed at Donna's place this summer with our camper where we spent 1 night only (our 1st in Albania). Her welcoming iced coffee and kindness made our stay in Berat even more precious. A real camping with everything you might need. Thank you Donna.

We stayed two nights. Very nice owner. Camping has a good restaurant. We had a tent, and we got a place nicely in the shadows between the apple trees. Also: the frappe was delicious. Thank you again.

The only campsite we could find near to Berat. Very friendly family owners who let us pitch out tent in their garden as there had been a big storm and the campsite was water logged. More suited for caravans as in the name.
Home restaurant (with home-made wine), wifi, electricity, showers, washing machine available. All facilities you could ask for available.
