For those who like history and a little walk into a forest :-). From the main road, take a turn to the right, into a street straight from the sign that says "Via Egnatia". Then walk up up up until the street becomes a dirt road. After about 10 minutes (I think) the remains of Via Egnatia begin. And it only gets more beautiful and concrete! There's about 100 or 200 meters left of the road, and it's pretty good quality I'd say!!

There's also a little church into the forests! Super serene and seculded. It's incredible that people built it there. To get there, one has to take a right at the little wooden sign attached to a small tree. The sign says something in Macedonian (probably "small church"...). Try to find it, it's worth it!

The Via Egnatia was a road constructed by the Romans in the 2nd century BC. It crossed the Roman provinces of Illyricum, Macedonia, and Thrace, running through territory that is now part of modern Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, and European Turkey.

Amazing to walk on the remains of a 2000 year old highway. Its not much, but it makes you wonder what kind of people would have wandered this exact stretch and where they were headed.
