DPD provided excellent delivery service to me today on November 23, 2023; my house is about 95 meters in from the street entrance, and the gate to my house is about 10 meters in from the street, so it is quite the walk from the gate, and the house cannot be seen from the gate; I requested on the DPD tracking site to have them put the two packages (one package of the waterbed mattress and another package with the vinyl safety covering that goes under the mattress but over the heating pad) on the inside of the gate where I had a hard plastic sheet for putting the packages; I received a notification on my android that the packages were successfully delivered, so I put on my winter jacket to go down to the gate with my dolly to wheel them back to the house, and I opened my foyer door, and the two packages were sitting in front of my door! That is about an 85 meter distance from the gate entrance; I was and am very impressed and not at all expecting this kind and thoughtful gesture on the delivery person's part! So DPD gets very high marks from me with this delivery!

Honestly, historically (some years ago) I didn't like this courier service at all - damaged packages, terrible behaviour of couriers. But meanwhile I have to admit they bettered very much - the main plus point per my opinion is that one is able to even track their car on the way to you. That not only allows you to schedule your time, but I even used it to pick up my paket on my way (I've "hunted" the courier). One also can redirect paket to neighbours etc.

Delivered as promised in time! Tracking System works exactly and is - I guess - unique in market. Really well done…..👍

The Best:

- Delivery man came in the morning, rang the bell and I am 3 floors up. When I was already getting ready to go down to pick the parcel, I opened the door and he was already up there, huge smile and ready to deliver.
I believe it is the first time someone does that.
- He was very friendly

The only negative note: the email message about the delivery date was sent on the day of delivery, which leaves little scope for planning attendance.

My packet was nice and small and was left in my post box. I have absolutely no complaints.

I really appreciate the option that DPD provides for requesting the package to be delivered to specific locations and specific times. My package was delivered just as requested and very efficiently!
