This gem of a tea house delivered beautifully. Fresh baked scones with homemade strawberry jam and hand-whipped cream. Resplendent selection of tea. All leaf tea. Scrumptious pastry selection including the lemon merengue lamington. Will definitely stop by here again. Strongly recommend for tea and cake enthusiasts. They offer high tea as well.

High Tea was beautiful in presentation and Staff absolutely lovely! Mum and I wish there were more of the savoury items to balance out all the sweetness but my fave were the scones always!

Had a lovely high tea at the tearooms. The scones were so soft and the cake display was a treat. A serving of hot little pastries and a plate of finger food arrived as well. Unlimited pots of tea and a sparkling flute of punch each was great. My partner thought the serving was a little light... However he wasn't able to eat everything... Something about the eyes bigger than the belly comes to mind. It was a lovely afternoon and wil be back. Be warned all that sugar makes you full in no time... Enjoyed the tea service... Old plates. Cups and saucers from the 1930s,1940s....all up well recommended...dont rush it... Sit back and partake the social conversation.

We booked in a High Tea today Sunday 9th July. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome by the friendly staff. The food was absolutely amazing and so beautifully presented. The room was nicely furnished with lovely vintage charm. We would highly recommend coming to this beautiful venue. Darren & Liz

Great to find somewhere local that has great vegan options. Picked up a vegan quiche today and took it home for lunch, it was amazing. Thank you Melissa and team for creating inclusive dishes so that everyone can enjoy a meal or a snack 😃

An absolute delight - beautiful hand made savoury and sweet treats, lovely china, excellent service and lovely, friendly staff. Brought my mum here for a special birthday celebration and she was surprised with a small handmade cake with a candle - the whole experience was just lovely. We can’t wait to come back.

Such a wonderful place to go for delicious food and service. There is nothing like drinking tea out of their beautiful tea cups and the coffee is amazing too. I have had High tea there a few times and have never been disappointed. Delicious variety and plenty to fill you up. Will go back again and again 5 stars

Celebrated a birthday with a high tea at Vintage Rose Tea House. Melissa was a wonderful host and every detail was attended to! Beautiful food and a lovely setting, the lemon meringue macaroon is to die for! Staff kindly boxed up remaining food for us to take home and enjoy. Special hidden gem that we will definitely return to, Thankyou Melissa & team for a lovely day!

A beautiful place for a Devonshire tea or choose from the decadent cakes.
Not in the CBD but definitely worth the short trip from the main street for travellers.

Sweet little tea room that justifies it's name. Fresh roses on every table beautiful furniture and the crockery is well miss matched. Food is delicious and locally sourced produce adds to the flavours. The staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable I highly recommend the birthday tea it is delish

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy brekky egg and bacon rolls! Will be trying the cakes next time. Highly recommend!
