I came on January 19 morning, the ranger who was there was extremely friendly, available and very professional. I wanted to thank her again for all the useful information she gave me. We see she is passionate about what she does. Thank you again !

Extremely friendly rangers! Very helpful, informative and pleasant. You are very welcome here and you can feel the passion! We had a small issue that we were helped with as a matter of course. :) Thank you and all thumbs up!

Enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, especially Kat who gave us so many ideas for walks and exploring. We followed some of her suggestions and had a 'perfect' day - breathtakingly beautiful walks and scenery. Already planning to come back!

We came here 3 years ago from NSW and Mel gave us so many great tips we had a fantastic visit. 3 years later she had more tips and knowledge to share. Love this place and the Parks staff.

Parks are doing a great job of camping areas. I hope 🙏 they don't put too much rock on Sandy Cape track it will take away the fun of the adventure.

Loved the Arthur Pieman Conservation Area! Friendly locals, great day walks, plenty of amazing Aboriginal heritage, cheap camping, and it's a conservation area, not a national park, so no Parks Pass required! The 4 wheel driving options are for the VERY experienced only though (Recommend a MINIMUM two 4x4 vehicle convoy as there's nothing to winch off) and and there's absolutely no vehicle recovery unless you find someone on the tassie 4x4 pages so be warned 😁 Fishing licenses are through the Service Tasmania website (not parks) so arrange that beforehand 👍🏻
It's a "Leave No Trace" area with no garbage bins and heavy fines for littering so take you're trash with you when you leave.
