Snezhanka Pamporovo

One of the most amazing places in Bulgaria. The staff is great, the food is tasty and actually reasonably priced for such a unique place.
However!! The tower is designed in a way that it can swing when the wind is strong. Don't worry it won't fall, but if you have motion sickness beware. I have a bad case of motion sickness and I visited in a strong wind. I fell sick almost immediately.

We were greeted by friendly staff. Stephen helped us with his own personal recommendations and we felt very welcome despite not knowing much Bulgarian. His English was very well and we will definitely be returning.

I went up for the views. Well worth the 6 Leva, Didn't go up to eat anything. Overpriced but that is to be expected. The guy spoke English and was very friendly. Had a little sit down and hot chocolate which seemed to be from a package.

Amazing place with easy access. It's a tower with a restaurant (some days of the year it's not working but there is an option to take a drink from the entrance and enjoy the view from the top). Amazing panorama view of Rhodopes! It's high in the mountain so pick up your clothes carefully. It's very beautiful there all time of the year.

It's a place for everyone to experience.

During the summer, there's a road until right under the tower.
During the winter, there're plenty of cable-cars to take you there.

Nice tower to sightseeing picturesque views and mountains.

You can't go to Pamporovo without visiting Snejanka Tower. More than 30 years ago, my parents took me there for the first time. Now I take my daughter every year. The view is stunning, service at the restaurant is good.

So, honestly I did not expect much from the tower but, I was stunned by the magnificent views from above, one tip if you plan to go there many people go for drinks which are more than expensive, on another hand food is extremely good and much cheaper than other places in the area. So if you planning to visit this awesome place make sure you go for lunch, menu is very good and prices more than fare.

Breathless view. It takes symbolic price of 5 BGN for elevator. On the top there is a good caffe.

The ticket to go up is 5lv. Then you can enjoy lunch or coffee in the cafeteria with amazing views and then go one level up to the open viewpoint level to take some pictures and enjoy the bulgarian mountains.

Toilettes are modern and clean.

First time on the tower and we were very sceptical about the restaurant and the food, however....
We were very wrong as the food was one of the best we tasted in Pamporovo. The waiter was very helpful and friendly . Highly recommended !

Snezhanka Tower is a wonderful place to walk to for exercise in the stunning Rhodope Mountains, and enjoy a meal be it Summer or Winter, trekking or mountain biking.

Nice place to visit. Skiing in winter andgreat walkings in every other season.
