Sangria resort Borovets

Sangria restaurant is a hidden gem by the sledging slopes, we ate here more than once the food was always tasty and well prepared. Geri who’s runs the restaurant is lovely, speaks good English and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely recommend

Excellent place and by far the best restaurant we had in our 3 day journey, we came with all the family and the waiter already knew where we from and even knew some words on our language which made us feel more like home.
The service was fantastic and the food was amazing everything was just as good as we expected also one benefit they had that their menu had pictures and it helped us a lot to understand what we ordered.
Respect to our waiter she really made our day!

I just had a bite here, but, seriously, they have the most amazing mushroom soup ever! The fresh one, not the creamy dish. And the waitress was very welcoming and sweet. Tip: ask for some cream, if you are that kind of foodie.

We came here for lunch after skiing in the morning, and we were amazed by the quality and value of the food. So much so that we came back 3 days in a row! Eli was a wonderful host, and we had quick service. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I liked this place a lot. It felt like stepping into a time machine, and I mean that in a good way, with traditional Bulgarian music and tasty food with very reasonable prices and big portions. It's a simple place IMO but I like it for that. Only annoying thing was the obnoxious group that was also there celebrating a birthday. Like, I get it, celebrate but the workers here shouldn't feel the need to give in to the whims of every customer, and that's my advice, stick with what makes your place unique and say NO to some customers who lack tact and want something "more happy". We are in Bulgaria, let's listen to Bulgarian music and eat local food, otherwise just stay in your country and listen to your music which, ironically, often tends to be LESS HAPPY. or, reserve the place for a private party for your "happier" music.

We stopped there for lunch. Had a pizza, few soups, toasts and more - everything was great, place was really nice and cozy, and most important the host was really nice. We really enjoyed it and will come back!
