Zdravets Hotel Conference & SPA

I stayed in a single room with breakfast and dinner included. There is a good choice at the buffet. It was my first experience tasting Bulgarian food and it was delicious. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the train station and hiking trails.

It feels so refreshing to come back from a day outside and then go soak in the pool or do a sauna session. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Old school yet quite budget. Reminds me of the 70s hotels in Spain. Rooms were clean and mattress very comfortable.
Swimming pool with mineral water, Finnish Sauna and small pool for the small ones. The hotel food was God, not wow but good.
Personnel was quite young and helpful and friendly. Took the all-inclusive option.

Event organization 5/5 - we organized our wedding there and everything was organized and executed perfectly; We live far from Velingrad and organized everything remotely, so I was scared that we'd miss something. But the event organizer, Margarita and her team reminded us of every detail (even parts of the wedding that happen outside the hotel) and they made sure everything was executed flawlessly. They even recommended outside vendors to handle our additional requests we had, then they took on the communication and organization of the vendors, so we didn't have to stress about the details.

Staff 5/5 - everyone is couteous, kind and punctual.
Communication 5/5 - Margarita, the event organizer worked with us to explain everything, guide us, and set realistic expectations. I love that she told us what we should expect upfront, she was very punctual in all explanations and she provided great pictures to show sample events in the past.

Restaurant 5/5 - the restaurant is more beautiful than what the pictures capture; the food is fantastic and the cooks worked with us to figure out various menu options that worked for our guests. The servers were very kind, attentive and professional.

Payment ease 5/5 - we were informed of all potential charges before our event; after the event we were given a detailed breakdown of the charges and the staff was very attentive and willing to answer any questions we had.

Overall experience 5/5 - Margarita and her team put us at ease, made our guests feel great and took care that our wedding is organized well. I can't think of what else I could ask for.

Conveniently located an easy walk away from the train and bus station,this is a nice hotel to relax.
Half-board price,including thermal pool,is a bargain. I hope I can be back soon.

The spacious room was with two bathroom, each with a shower cabin. The food was good and enough. Two saunas and a small steam room right at the pool. If you fancy a good swim go around lunch time. Right out of the hotel you can find the centre of the city with many shops and souveniers. Would stay here again!

Great hotel in the dead-center of Velingrad. Breakfast wasn't 4 stars, but it was good enough. Pool wasn't anything special, but it was hot. SPA is crampy, but the jacuzzi is awesome. Bath is great, service is great. The only problem I had was with the warning signs with prices that threaten you'd have to pay for everything... but I guess they have a reason to stamp it on the door. It was a good experience, overall.

Excellent place. Clean rooms, tasty food. Special thanks to the staff. We lost a hotel card that woud've cost us 20 levs. The card was found and returned to us at no charge

The hotel is alright, some minor stuff need fixing.
The personel is very kind and they were always warmingly smiling to me.
Overall grade 5/5, 10/10. A place to go on vacation in any case.

I have been with my wife for four nights 21-25 March over there and could say I brought home nice memory from the hotel Zdravets.All services was excellent, clean and large room,food,SPA center ,friendly staff. It was my first time visiting Velingrad and hotel Zdravets but I hope it not be last.

Great hotel for its price - it's not luxurious but the rooms are decent, the swimming pool/spa area is good and the food is nice consiting of traditional Bulgarian meals.

Didn't expect such a nice, relaxing place. Exhalent services, facilities and food
