This place is a product of divine vision. An enchanting view and setting with exceptional food (apparently the new Chef comes from a top restaurant in Santa Cruz and has made it his mission to provide the same standard here), the architecture is original and the service makes one feel at home. I cannot overstate how special this place is. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a special day out, an excellent meal, a family getaway or a romantic evening.

Alkamari is an authentic Andean eco-lodge. It's construction, furnishings, art, landscape, food, therapies; it's whole atmosphere is pure and vibrant, conducive to mental, physical and spiritual renewal. I go to Alkamari clouded and burdened, and I always walk away clear, light and refreshed.

Alkamari is an amazing hotel nestled in the mountains above La Paz, Bolivia with the towering 21,000 ft snow covered mountain Illimani in the background. Renee and the staff at Alkamari are highly accommodating, professional, friendly and amazing down to earth people. There are hiking trails nearby where you can see all of La Paz as well as the surrounding mountains. Below Alkamari is an arroyo where you can walk down and explore the beautiful terrain right in the backyard. I stayed here for a week on two separate occasions on my most recent venture to Bolivia. I attended a spiritual retreat during the second week where a master from the east came and taught along with a whole community of Sikhs. Also while I was here I did ceremonies with a master shaman. Both experiences were incredible. I highly recommend Alkamari for both the spiritual seeker, and the person looking for a beautiful getaway in the mountains. Thanks Alkamari!

Die Zeremonie fand in einer atemberaubend schönen Umgebung statt, die allein schon eine heilende und beruhigende Wirkung hatte. Das Team von Sachs Runa, bestehend aus erfahrenen und einfühlsamen Führern, sorgte dafür, dass sich jeder Teilnehmer sicher und unterstützt fühlte. Ihre professionelle Begleitung durch die Zeremonie ermöglichte es mir, mich voll und ganz auf die Erfahrung einzulassen und den größtmöglichen Nutzen daraus zu ziehen. Die Sorgfalt und Tiefe, mit der sie ihren Dienst verrichteten, war beeindruckend und trug maßgeblich zum Erfolg der Zeremonie bei.

Das Essen und die Unterkunft waren hervorragend und perfekt auf die Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer abgestimmt, was den gesamten Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Me encantó el hotel es fácil de llegar, muy tranquilo... Se puede ir y volver en un mismo día y también se puede quedar varios días, muy buena opción para ir con toda la familia.

Es un lugar ideal para descansar, meditar y relajarse.
Su cocina es de primera, platos gourmet servidos cómo en el mejor restaurante.
Además del paisaje que es infinito, tiene vistas increíbles.

Un lugar donde se puede ver los mejores paisajes hermosos de las Lapas escondidas. Si pasa la noche, puede ver bien las estrellas en el cielo nocturno. Veo tantos lugares bonitos cuando salgo de Bolivia.

A place where you can see the best beautiful scenery of the hidden Lapas. If you stay overnight, you can see the stars in the night sky well. I see so many pretty places when I leave Bolivia.

El restaurante es muy bueno, la vista al Illimani, si es que está nublado el illimani igual el paisaje es muy relajante, el trato al los clientes es muy bueno, 100% recomendado. No es fast-food, la comida tarda un poco pero todo es muy fresco.

Mejor vista al Illimani, lugar perfecto para pasar el fin de semana. La trucha al limón con risotto de quinua es muy recomendable.

Fuimos solo a conocer y almorzar, la comida es de un restaurante gourmet. Excelente.

Yo estuve en una ceremonia de ayahuasca y fue una experiencia muy difícil y reconfortante al mismo tiempo, me di cuenta que soy muy fuerte ,puedo con todo, y también puedo rendirme y puedo crear aquello que quiero sentir, aceptar, amar, todo es uno y solo importa como vivo yo , como me percibo a mi misma es todo lo que importa , soy perfecta, y ayahuasca fue una madre que me guió y me empujó hasta casi quebrarme pero me reconforto cuando lo necesitaba, me decía que yo guió, yo decido que sentir , si trato de controlar todo ahí me apago y bajo , las vergüenzas las supere casi todas, senti que éramos todos niños que solo necesitan mucho amor y reír, me sentí aceptada,feliz, sentí el amor de padre que hubiera querido tener y me sentí completamente una niña de nuevo, con mil aventuras por descubrir y explorar sin miedo en absoluto,sentí el amor de hermanas, sentí que estoy bien , que mi energía está bien, no tengo que forzar nada. Quiero agradecer profundamente no tengo palabras para agradecer a todas las personas que estaban en la ceremonia conmigo , al chamán miguel especialmente, me sentí a salvo , guiada y feliz , honrada de poder compartir con personas de tanta sabiduría, esa sabiduría emocional que no se puede explicar, gracias infinitas y espero volver prontoo a amarlos mucho a todos 🥰🥰

Hermoso lugar, vista directa al Illimani y Mururata, habitaciones limpias, con camas cómodas y arquitectura rústica de muy buen gusto.

Buena atención, la comida es espectacular, el ambiente acogedor y las actividades son muy buenas, el personal para cada actividad es muy profesional. Altamente recomendable.
