Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe

Favourite East Coast Coffee Shop. As a certified coffee enthusiast I can confirm that Sissiboo is the real deal! Everything I’ve tried from them has been amazing - from freshly brewed beverages to tasty treats, my taste buds are always satisfied. Their staff is usually quite welcoming & friendly, although I’ve had a few not-so-friendly experiences. This café is a must-visit spot every time I stop into Annapolis Royal. Highly recommend if you’re looking to sip some delicious coffee overlooking a gorgeous view! :)

Genuinely best cappuccino & mocha that we've had on our holiday in Nova Scotia so far. They sell lots of equipment for those serious about their coffee, as well as ground coffees & other merch.

Great coffees, nice barista, great chocolate chip cookie. Loved the cheesecake. Highly recommended!

It had been 3 years since my last visit to Sissiboo, and as always, it did not disappoint. Amazing coffee and a cozy little shop. 10/10 would recommend

A charming coffee shop that does their own roasting. They offer a restroom for customers as well as a community board with local events listed.

John and Erin are warm and sweet owners who welcomed us to a tour of their roasting facility behind the storefront in Bear River. They have put thought and intention into every picture and word on each bag! They use Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe as a location to bring the community together, and in doing so have become a hub of the town. At then end of our time with John and Erin, we left feeling honored to have glimpsed into the life of Bear River. Oh, and the coffee? Fantastic.

Our go to place when in town. The owners usually have local artwork displayed. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Let's start with the Spicy Hot Chocolate that was actually spicy. Rich, creamy, chocolatey, but with a delicious bite of spicy heat. Not too sweet, just a perfect blend.

Next, the yummy gluten-free Sunsquares, made with sunflower seeds, butter, honey and rice flour. Don't be put off by the gluten-free, these treats are simple and elegant you can taste the butter. It has to be said my daughter tasted a slightly bitter aftertaste but all I found was sweet and rich.

The cafe offers their own roasted beans in the full range of coffee-based beverages and high end teas. The atmosphere is clean and bright with a beautiful tin ceiling.

Treat yourself next time you're in Annapolis Royal. You won't be disappointed.

Great spot when in town. The coffee was fantastic, and the cookie I had was great.

We were delighted to find such an amazing little cafe in Anapolis Royal. The lattes were delicious and flavourful, and you have the option of adding a homemade flavor shot. During our trip we went back every day and the quality was consistent - quality roast, excellent pulls, delicious flavour (and I'm not usually one for adding flavouring to my lattes, but I couldn't pass up the caramel or the cinnamon. I'm glad I didn't because they're awesome). Every time we get up to AR I'll make a point of stopping here.

Great coffee in the heart of Annapolis

Almost passed by, but a gentleman and his wife insisted we try the iced mocha, so we went in. The ice in the iced drinks is made of frozen iced coffee. Nice touch. The iced mocha was delicious, coming from someone who doesn't like too many coffee drinks.

We also had the ginger cookies, which were soft and very yummy.

The woman working the shop was obviously very skilled and efficient. Shop was clean.

First visit today! Quaint, tidy, clean shop with gorgeous real wood floors. The smell of coffee upon entering was Heavenly. Bottle your own kombucha, grind your own coffee or by the beans to grind at home! Take out coffees available...regular, lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate etc. Doctor your coffee/tea at a nearby counter with maple syrup, honey, sand sugar and choose from cream , milk, almond milk, coconut milk etc. Something for everyone!! Highly recommend!

Of the many places we stopped at during our Canadian adventure, Sissiboo was one of our favorites! The coffee was excellent, the service warm and friendly, and even the locals in the shop were welcoming and a joy to talk to. Can't recommend a stop here enough! You won't regret it!

Great spot to sit and enjoy a coffee. Fast and efficient take away too. Sissiboo is one of the top 10 coffee roasters in Canada. The Coffee is fantastic if your in Annapolis royal you must try.

Tried double shot of the fireman's breakfast. Really strong taste and a different than most others espresso roasts. Definitely's got a kick.

I'll try making some at home and see the difference.

Their variety seems good. It's organic and fair trade. If you ever pass by give it a try. Won't regret it!
