Always a great place to stop and take in the mountains and Abraham Lake

This is a stunning roadside viewpoint on highway 11. Situated on the banks of Lake Abraham this view point gives a fantastic view of the lake as well as the snow covered mountains on the other side. The frozen lake with hardly any snow cover gives a false feeling of still water on a freezing day from a distance. Really nice place to take a break from driving and relaxing.

Abraham Lake, west of Rocky Mountain House. One of the areas I never get tired seeing. Beautiful area for hiking, biking and relaxing

What a view.. there's nothing here but some trashcans and a roadside pullout, so don't expect to have a big experience here. No toilets, etc. The view is pretty stellar though, and it's a nice big area to pull off, room for dozens of cars.
