The Garrison House Inn

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here this evening. The food was delicious, the service from Emily was great and the lovely owner made sure we had everything we needed. It was so good were going back for Brunch on Sunday. If you're in Annapolis Royal, this is a must!

Went here for lunch. They have a simple menu with delicious chooses. I had the steak sandwich with a delicious roasted tomato soup. The sandwich was in a philly style which I enjoyed very much. My wife had the same with a very delicious Ceasar salad. Will definitely come here again.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. I will certainly be back. It's now under new management and I'm confident having met some of the new owners that it will remain a success and a great place to stay. Especially since it's walking distance to the Kings Theatre. If you're in the area stop in and say hi. Fabulous people!

Haven't needed to stay there because we live close by, but the restaurant is cozy, the service friendly and the food excellent. Today we had Sunday brunch there. It was a delicious, beautifully presented feast, more than we needed but somehow it disappeared off our plates!

What a wonderful experience, the Establishment is very popular and the meals 'Exquisite', even with big long weekend and famous wharf rat rally in digby, just have time, relax and enjoy. Thank you, we really appreciate your love for cooking superb meals. We will be back soon. Need to come for Brunch next...always reserve a table.

We came here from Maine, to do work on my mother's side of the family tree.
We stayed two nights, and had dinner at this wonderful place. The food was phenomenal! Best place for dinner in Annapolis for sure! The rooms were clean and the service was impeccable!

I would start here again. Located across from Fort Ann. This historical home has just about all the original features. Original staircase and floors. It's not modern, so the floors and stairs creak. The staff and service was great. Very friendly and welcoming. The Garrison House is beautiful ❤.

I had the Basil Pesto Penne Pasta and it was simply incredible. I opted for bread instead of a soup or salad to go along with it since I can't eat much but my friends spoke very well of the clam chowder and french onion soup! We also had the Creamsicle cocktail which smells and tastes as it is named!

We sat on the patio which was lovely and bug free. It overlooked the grounds of Fort Anne so excellent scenery. Can't wait to go again!

Travelled around Nova Scotia and PEI for 2 weeks, so far it's been the best restaurant.
The best sea food chowder, amazing chocolate lava cake. Everyone enjoyed their dinner.

What a lovely little Inn! The historic home is graciously and beautifully done up; every room has its own ensuite bathroom. We were in Room 1, which was particularly nice and overlooks Fort Anne. The furniture may be antiques but the mattresses deserve special mention for being excellent (I can be quite fussy about that). Breakfast was delicious and served by John, the friendly owner. I am hard pressed to think of anything critical to say... maybe I wish they'd had milk instead of cream for my tea. But other than that, it was a perfectly delightful stay in a beautiful town. Highly Recommend!

The brunch was absolutely amazing. With such a large group all our meals were spot on. Eggs Benny omg yes. So much food. To top it off the cocktails were a great price and made very well. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you

Had an excellent time at this unique eclectic heritage Inn. There were seven rooms I was in room number one. All rooms have their own private washrooms. Beds are incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed the food at dinner and at breakfast and the service was absolutely fantastic.

I had dinner on January 13th, 2023. Excellent service. Our server was personable and helpful. My brother and I were very satisfied with our meals. Generous portions. Our white wine was very chilled, which is important. I highly recommend The Garrison House Inn.

Food was great. We were there for Sunday Brunch. Very pricy, but makes sense for the quantity of food! We probably could have split the brunch between 2 very comfortably

Four ladies and I went to the Garrison House Inn and Restaurant for a Ladies Night supper on Wednesday, November 30. The service was prompt and pleasant, the food delicious and the management went out of their way to ensure the diners had a good experience. Highly recommend it!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Beautiful century home over-looking Fort Anne. Spacious rooms offer a blend of modern convenience and classic atmosphere. Comfortable beds, free wifi, available free parking. Multiple room configurations insure there is always an option to suit your requirements. The main floor offers a bar and dining room with a screened patio for warm summer weather. Dishes on the dinner menu are delicious and made from fresh locally grown ingredients. I highly recommend the asparagus as a starter! Main course meals are wonderfully prepared and don't skip out on the rhubarb pie for dessert. Breakfast is just what you hope for! Enjoy it continental or, as I prefer, farm-fresh eggs over easy and toast made from home baked bread with fresh fruit and bacon of course.
All of this hosted by very friendly, knowledgeable staff who you just might call friends by the end of your visit.

Garrison house is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I had the curry (medium heat) and steamed vegetables that was outstanding. The seafood curry is unique in flavor, affordable and the portion size is great. The service is also great. Tabitha, my server was friendly and knowledgeable.The hostess, Bradley was quick to get me set up for dinner and very friendly. I enjoyed my experience at the Garrison House, as I always do and can't wait to go back to try the haddock!

Stayed there one night while passing through Nova Scotia, very charming Inn, room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good... Service was excellent, very gentle staff!

Stayed overnight & had supper. First rate food & gorgeous historic rooms. Staff were all relaxed, friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend!
