Tom's Pan German Bakery

The food was truly amazing, particularly the bread! I had the chance to try their delicious vegan sausages, which I could have easily mistaken for traditional meat sausages if I hadn’t known they were plant-based. The apple strudel was a delightful indulgence, and the iced coffee was the perfect finishing touch. All in all, it was an utterly enjoyable dining experience!

The best vegan sausage I have ever had, even my meat-eating husband said it was delicious. Then we got some bread, pretzels and sweets to go. I highly recommend this spot for a stop in!

You must try the bratwurst sandwich with mustard!! How fantastic!! We had coffee which was delivered with a cinnamon heart—nice touch!! We also took a couple of cinnamon rolls to go which were also great!! This place is a win!!

Nice options to buy some tourist souvenirs or German products in their store as well!!

The baked goods were unique and delicious, definitely had a German/Costa Rican spin on otherwise familiar goodies. German style cheese cake with a passion fruit topping? Amazing!

Their food was also delicious (just look at the photos!) and the owner was an incredibly friendly and warm individual who makes you feel right at home

Stopped here on way to Tamarindo. Great views & great service! Food was great! Got a jamon y queso that we split as well as shared a beer and coffee. Very much liked! Not sure why this rates 4-stars, but I really liked it!

Bakery items made from scratch, are a rare find! 👌 we bought a couple of different pieces and bread you won't get disappointed here! We also stopped for lunch which was absolutely delicious.

This is a cute little bakery cafe, and after living in Germany for a few years long ago, it made me feel at home again. It had been ages since I had a legit weisswurst, so I was a happy girl! The food was delicious, the service was great, and I would happily visit again if we're back in town.

It is pricy but it is a really good quality of german bread and desserts! And it is really good spot to relax too.

Great little spot with fresh pastries and friendly owners. We had to stop in the middle of our road trip and came across this place. Prices are ok and food / drink quality is great. We had a great time stopping by here and will definitly remember this place. We ordered fresh orange juice and some croissants. Nice little town to have a break at. They have a nice seating area and also toilets which could have been cleaner.

Such amazing food! We ordered a tomato soup and split it and a sandwich. Washed that down with apfelsaftschorle. Also enjoyed a Bavarian pretzel with some really yummy sweet mustard.

Super delicious German baked goods in the middle of Costa Rica no less. Love the little village vibe. I look forward to coming back.

It was a great road trip stop for us. We both had sandwiches, both if which were delicious. Also got a vegan brownie which has to have been the best brownie I've ever had. Fully recommend, great food and breads.

A touch of Europe in Costa Rica. Had a quick snack of cinnamon roll and a double-shot espresso while passing through Nuevo Arenal. Lovely place. Wish I had more time to try out other menu choices.

We came from munich and after we saw a place called German bakery we were curios to try it out for laughter, but we came out with pure joy of quality of food. Better than what you can find inside Germany, at least I can say it for the sausage sandwich with amazing bread and sausage. Staff are also helpful, friendly and very busy, so many people eat over there.

Amazing. A must stop. We took 4 pastries and they were all super delicious. The apple strudel, a cinnamon roll, a chocolate croasson and an apple crumble. Yummy. Ee came at 4.30 pm and still everything was fresh. They also do great coffee and smoothies. Friendly service and a lot of place to sit. Don't miss this one.

We went here in December. If you're ordering for selective eaters (ie: my kids) be sure to ask exactly what a dish has in it. We learned that German goulash is very different from what I was raised on. Everything was delicious. It was neat that they have menus in English, German, and Spanish. There are gift shops nearby, so that was nice to take the kids to while waiting for our meal.
