Blue Jungle Lodge

My wife and I spent two weeks in Costa Rica. We had the pleasure of staying at Blue Jungle Lodge before it “officially” opened. It was the highlight of our trip. The owners were wonderful and helped make our trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot!

What a beautiful house, super well decorated and spacious. The room was nice and big, as well as the bathroom and shower stall. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of (good) towels. There was a small kitchen in the room, with a nice amount of equipment and tea and coffee. Alexis was very friendly and gave plenty of great recommendations. Both the bathroom window and balcony door had mosquito protection and there was a ceiling fan. There is no aircon but we didn't have any need for it. The only downsides were: you cannot sleep with the balcony open due to noise from the nearby street and the neighbor dogs and cocks. The other guests were also quite noisey and banged the doors a lot but that was on the guests and not the property.

This was an unexpected, unplanned stay but it sticks in the memory for all the right reasons. Recommended here after a booking error on our part, Alexis was charming, warm and full of knowledge. Just like his hotel. Of all the places we stayed during 5 weeks in Costa Rica, this is the one that will be a repeat stay. Can’t wait to see if the expansion plans down by the lake are completed. Just ask Alexis about the chicken place down the road.

We've been there in low season and the owner gave us a bigger room which was great. The place is huge, very clean. Jaco (the dog) is very friendly.

This place is amazing. 5 stars all the way. You have to stay here a few nights.

Magnifique logement, très confortable et propre ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et le chien (Jaco) est toujours là pour animer les lieux ! ☺ Nous avons passé deux agréables journées au Blue Jungle Lodge et recommandons à tout voyageur qui passe dans le coin !

Super accueil, chambres impeccables avec mini cuisine, hôtes hyper sympa, très bonne situation par rapport au lac et proche de nuevo Arenal . Un excellent séjour.

Estupenda estancia. Habitaciones amplias, con nevera y pequeña cocina. Cama nueva, enorme y muy cómoda. Baños impecables.
