Agua Inn

Stayed here for a night after my arrival to Liberia and I absolutely loved my stay. Two brothers own this place and they maintain it very well. I love the sound and appearance of nature all around you, not to mention a river right next to the place. Rooms were clean and it was a super quiet and peaceful night. A super safe location and everyone makes you feel so welcomed. They have a great home made breakfast for you when you wake up which is a great plus. All around I had an amazing stay here. The owner also helped me to find a place in town that could help me out with a nail I had in my tire. A must stay for sure.

Great place to stay and live the sounds of nature all around. Great pool right besides a small river in the tropical forest. Charming place with a friendly service, reasonable prices, what more can you ask?

Delightful place, and we will return if we come back to Arenal. I'm posting a picture of the sign by the entrance because it is easy to miss at night. You enter and go past the neighboring house that is on the highway. Then follow a steep winding driveway past gorgeous terraces planted with an amazing collection of tropical plants to the inn nestled at the valley bottom at the side of the river. Magical!

I spent 4 nights here and it was awesome. Streams run through the property, it feels like you're in the middle of the rainforest. Staff were all friendly with good energy and vibes. Breakfast was great. Pot of coffee is there all day that I gladly emptied every day 😅. Very close to a small town nuevo arenal and so many things to do around Lake arenal.

This property is a rare gem. Its well-marked location is superb, beautifully landscaped and very welcoming. The beds are comfortable, the sheets excellent, the water hot, and the rooms and public areas very clean. We enjoyed scrumptious coffee and a delicious breakfast. More than that, though, is the genuine welcome we received from hosts Trent and Javier. They openly shared their insights of Pura Vida living and recommended good places to stop on our return trip. You'll love Pepe, the house parrot who lands on your shoulder within seconds! You won't be able to find a better value for the reasonable price or a warmer welcome in the area around Lake Arenal.

amazing! If you’re using google maps keep going past the point it tells you until you see the blue and white signs that day Agua inn! The location was so peaceful and tucked away, a great spot for romantic getaway

we were in Costa Rica for ten days, four spent at Agua inn and they had the best beds and most spacious rooms by far. The rooms were cleaned, sanitized, and towels refreshed everyday. There is great natural lighting and you can crack the windows and listen to the jungle all night. My partner and I slept so well! Every morning you get to have breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the jungle and the pool, the breakfast is made fresh, and included with your stay!

Agua inn is very peaceful, I wouldn’t advise coming to this resort searching for a hostel or party weekend vibe. The serene atmosphere makes aqua inn a great cozy, romantic, restful place to be in Arenal. There is an adorable resident dog and resident Parrot, both equal competitors for the attention of guests. Trent, one of the owners of the hotel, is a great host -we asked him about a restaurant and a few minutes later he had made us a reservation!

Overall I would definitely recommend Agua inn to anyone I know!

Very beautiful place, great service, the nature and the landscape something we have never seen before, very cozy and clean rooms. The stuff are very kind and welcoming. And they have a lovely parrot 🦜 that is very cute and friendly 😊. Highly recommended!

We arrived late and were greeted with great hospitality. Finally, a clean, beautiful place with real charm and character. For some reason we had trouble finding quality hotels with hot water across Costa Rica. Not here, comfortable beds and hot water! Also the owner accommodated our vegan preferences. Amazing stay!

We were so glad we found Agua Inn for our trip to Costa Rica! The property is absolutely beautiful with all the plants and a river close by. At night you sleep so peacefully with the sounds of the birds and the river. We loved the breakfast!! Sitting out on the patio with some coffee, delicious food and beautiful nature all around was a great way to start the day. We also enjoyed their parrot , Pepa and their dog, Feo running around and the staff were all very welcoming. Make sure you check drive times to activities you have planned. We went to Fortuna, Rio Celeste and Rincon de la Vieja from here but we didn’t mind the drives and it is worth it to stay in such a cool spot like Agua Inn.

Amazing B&B with the most comfortable beds ever! We arrived late and tired and the owner gave us a warm welcome. We decided to stay another night because this place is just magical. You're surrounded by nature and the vibe of the place it's just out of this world. On top of this, all the staff is friendly and kind people and they go above and beyond to make you feel at home.
If you stay here I can guarantee you, you will want to stay for longer! I cannot recommend Agua Inn enough. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

It is a hidden gem where you can relax and enjoy the sound of the river and birds singing. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are clean, and are of a much better quality than what I have seen in this area's hotels. Highly recommended!

Found this little gem somehow on the internet and booked after reading the reviews - and I couldn't agree more with all the great things I read! Great facility, great location, great staff, and the owner, Trent, was super nice and welcoming. It is perfectly nestled down in the jungle with a beautful river flowing right beside it. We only stayed two nights and I wish we had stayed much, much longer.

What a experience to visit! The friendly owner and his staff give you a warm welcome in their fantastic located house/hotel, in a awesome jungle garden. The chickens around where just as at home.. great breakfast, a nice talk, that's always a good start for a vacation.

Spotlessly clean place, with wonderful views, completely surrounded by nature view and sounds, and in the company of the most amazing host. Mil gracias Israel, Javier, Adela y Pepa por una estadia maravillosa!

Beautifully maintained property and landscaping; and the river sounds so nice while sleeping. Very lovely place with friendly hosts. We highly recommend it!

Excellent B&B with very comfortable rooms, free parking, WiFi and a very nice breakfast. Amazing staff, a beautiful and serene location, highly recommended.
